It was the middle of summer in the Earth calendar, a small newborn girl's cries echo throughout a nursing home in the Demon Realm. Her dark purple head of hair and bright green eyes were the focus of everyone in the room. Her mother, Delilah, held her close with joyous tears in her eyes, her newborn girl wrapped in a small blanket. Her father, Taric, stood by the side of his succubus wife, patting her head with a prideful smile. The newborn girl in her arms, would be named Tara. A year after her birth, Tara was already beginning to show signs that she would be a fighter. She would often fly around her home and destroy things with her uncontrolled ki. She would never cause any serious damage to herself, her home, or anyone around her, but it was much to the inconvenience of her parents. Tara spent her early life in the Demon Realm with her mother. Her father would often go off to his home planet to train or to foreign planets seeking fighters to challenge him. He would see his family in the Demon Realm a few times a week. While she was still a baby, her prideful father, Taric, spoke amongst his Saiyan comrades as they trained. He would boast proudly about the potential of his daughter, speaking that she would one day become the strongest demon to ever live and rule her home realm happily. Taric said that her Saiyan blood would carry her power beyond anything the universe has seen and the she would make him proud. He said that he would take on her training himself to make her into the perfect Saiyan warrior. His comrades were less then impressed by Taric's words, but still gave him praise. At age 4, Tara's demon features began to grow more noticeable and being so young, she was unable to conceal them. Her small horns, tail and wings were her defining features that separated her from the other kids and demons that were her friends. She was a happy child who always smiled and laughed, but was somewhat introverted. Her father's training would start for her at age 4. The two were outside of Tara's home and it was Tara's first time training. Her mother watched the two closely.
"Ok Tara, your training starts here. You have inside you the potential to be a great warrior. Even stronger then me." Taric said with a smile. Tara's face lit up and she smiled brightly. Taric often told Tara stories of his adventures in space before bedtime and all of his feats. Tara thought her father was the strongest man alive. "As strong as my daddy?!?" Tara said excitedly. "Stronger." Taric started. "However, power like this doesn't come with in one's sleep. You have potential, yes, but you have to work to drag it out and turn it into strength." Taric stops for a moment, realizing that Tara is staring at him blankly, unable to process what he's saying. He laughs and lets out a sigh. "Ok, we'll start with something more simple." Taric says. He charges a ki blast in his hand and holds it in his palm. Tara looks on amazed. "Now, what do we call this, Tara?" Taric asks. "Ki!" Tara responds enthusiastically. "Very good. See when you were very little, you would throw ki all over the house and break all of your mother's expensive belongings. The universe's strongest warriors don't go around destroying other people's things now, do they?" Taric asks again. Tara shakes her head quickly, her purple hair swinging with every turn of her head. "So, I'm going to teach you how to control your ki. Try to do what I'm doing now. Force some ki into the palm of your hands." Taric says. Tara puts both of her hands together in a praying position, then separates them, making a small ball of ki. Before it can completely form, it explodes. The explosion makes Tara scream and knocks her to the ground on her bottom. Her mother, Delilah, grows a slightly concerned look and Taric walks over to his daughter. Tara looks up at him and smiles, but Taric isn't smiling back. "Good try, Tara. Let's try again." Taric says. Tara stands up enthusiastically and tries again. Then again, then again. Taric kept her outside practicing her ki control for 3 hours. Delilah headed into her home a few hours ago, but then goes outside to check on them. Tara is breathing heavily with tears in her eyes and Taric has a furious expression. "Tara, there is no passion in your eyes! Try again!" Taric bellows at Tara. "I-I-I'm trying, daddy! This is really hard!" Tara says through her crying and her shaking body. "Don't you want to be the strongest? Does your own power mean nothing to you?!? Where is your Saiyan pride?!?" Taric yells walking angrily toward Tara reeling up a punch. Tara, scared, falls to the ground on her bottom. She puts her arms up to desperately defend herself. "STOP IT!" Delilah yells from her front door, running out to her daughter's aid. "Mommy!" Tara cries with tear-filled eyes. Her mother picks up her daughter from the ground, carrying her. Tara's hands are covered in scratches and burn marks from the ki blasts. Delilah looks at Tara's tearful eyes and her scarred hands in horror, then turns to her husband. "Taric, what have you done to our daughter?!? YOUR daughter?!?" Delilah yells on the verge of tears. Taric turns his head away. "This is the only way she'll learn. She will remember this pain and grow from it!" Taric says. "She isn't like you! She's not a full-blooded Saiyan fighter like you, and most of all she's just a child! You can't train her like one of your own soldiers." Delilah said, her voice quivering. "She WILL be the strongest! And I will make sure she's trained appropriately! Go on, let her have her rest. She needs to recover." Taric says. "You, you brute! What is she going to tell her friends and her teacher when they see these burn marks? She's going to be starting school tomorrow!" Delilah says again, holding a shaky Tara closer to her chest. Taric scoffs. "Bah, school? You prioritize school over her destiny? We'll see where knowing her times tables get her in a real battle." Taric says. Delilah, disgusted, runs her daughter into her home. Taric angrily punches his hands together in frustration.

FanfictionThis story covers the complete history of my Dragon Ball OC Tara. With it being a complete history and with her being just over 1,000 years old at this point, it won't be a simple 3 part story like everything else. As such it'll take a while for me...
