Dad: "son don't worry your going to love it here it's beautiful and there is a lot of land you love to explore the woods"

Your dad said to you looking at you from the rearview mirror you were sulking looking out the window staring at all the trees outside

Mom: "son i know that this move is hard but you will enjoy who knows you may find and romantic partner"

Your mom giggled you sighed all you did was daydream while looking out the window you began to think in your head

Y/n: "I know the move is needed but I wish I was back in Ohio I loved it there I had friends a life and well she wasn't my girlfriend but she was my love interest"

You began to think of the girl you like back home her image popped in your head she was tall brunette beautiful green eyes and had the voice of a Angel

Y/n: "I wish I had the courage to ask you out Elizabeth but I chickened out I'm never making that mistake again"

You looked ahead to see a big sign the sign had a sunset with a waterfall background and big text it said "welcome to gravity falls"

Dad: "check it out son were here"

From a distance you began to see a town it looked kinda weird and old but normal your dad drove past a bunch of places a library a cemetery a arcade a bar nothing really interesting until you made it to your new house it was pretty big it was a 2 story house gray and kinda old but it was nice you got out the car your mom and dad followed with you

Dad: "see son I told you it's beautiful bigger then our other house and you get your own room to your self"

Y/n: "dad I had my own room back at Ohio remember Dwight moved out before we left"

Mom: "I'm so proud of Dwight for going to college"

Your mom kissed your dad you gagged then your dad walked to the house and opened the door your mom and you followed in it was bigger then expected sure it was a bit dusty and had cob webs but it was pretty you looked around a bit looked like the standard house

Mom: "why don't you go upstairs and check out your room sweetheart?"

Y/n: "ok mom"

You walked up the stairs and turned to the right down the hall you see a brown door and opened it the room was pretty big you walked in you saw that it had a desk and a dresser you opened the closet and it looked like a different room it was pretty big could hide some stuff there you looked at the bed looked clean somehow

Y/n: "hm this place is pretty cool bigger then my old room just hang up my posters and add some color and it won't be bad at all"

You went down stairs and you saw your dad sitting on the sofa reading something

Y/n: "hey dad what ya reading?"

Dad: "this weird brochure of some tourist trap"

Your dad gave you the brochure you looked at it

Y/n: "the mystery shack?"

Dad: "yea it's not too far for here why not go check it out on your bike? Its a great opportunity so you can look around"

Y/n: "sure why not?"

Dad: "you're bike is in the trunk of the truck"

Y/n: "ok I'm off then"

You walked out the house and took out your bike from the trunk of the truck you looked at the map to see where the shack is once you got a mental note of if you head it out

Y/n: "hm this place is pretty fresh air and land everywhere Its nice"

About 15 minutes later you made it to the shack where you saw a bus in front of it

Y/n: "tourist bus maybe?"

You approached the front door and opened it to see weird things in this shack weird creatures that were obviously fake some still had the glue showing the weird merch was a let down but there was a cool necklace of a question mark that you wanted you looked around for a moment not knowing where you were walking you bump into someone you and that person fell to the grown you looked up to see a guy looked like he was the same age as you wearing a vest red shirt shorts with a blue hat with a pine tree on it

Y/n: "oh man sorry dude"

You got up and held out your hand the guy took it and you helped him up

Guy: "it's ok i wasn't paying attention on where I was going"

Y/n: "same here"

Guy: "can I help you find something?"

Y/n: "oh you work here?"

Guy: "yep names Mason Mason pines but most people call me dipper"

Y/n: "I'm (y/n) (y/l) nice to meet you"

You and dipper shook hands

Dipper: "so are you with the tourist bus?"

Y/n: "oh no I'm new in town just move here"

Dipper: "welcome to gravity falls"

Y/n: "thanks"

Dipper: "I'm guessing your going to our high school?"

Y/n: "yea"

Dipper: "well cool I'll see you at school I've got to keep working but maybe we can hang out sometimes"

Y/n: "yea that be cool"

Dipper: "ok then later man"

Y/n: "see ya"

You both fist bump and dipper walked off you were about to walked to the exit but you see a girl walking in the shack you almost bumped into her

Girl: "oh I'm sorry excuse me"

You looked at her for a moment the first thing you see is her beautiful sparking eyes

Y/n: "uh um I mean I'm sorry"

You chuckle awkwardly

The girl giggled you looked at her sweater she was wearing a purple sweater with a kitten laying down and big text it said "cat nap" she had long brown hair and she was wearing a skirt you blushed a bit

Y/n: "um cute sweater"

Girl: "thank you! I made it myself"

She giggled

Girl: "well I like to stay and chat but I got to keep working"

Y/n: "oh I'm sorry I'll leave you alone"

You walked out of the shack and got on your bike your heart was racing and your palms were sweaty in your head you kept on peddling until you made it home you got off your bike and for some reason your mouth was dry you rushed in to get some water you drank it and sat down on the couch

Y/n: "I wonder who is that girl?"
