"Alivia!!"Mike yelled loudly. His yell was so aggressive and made you jump. I fought the fear though, I was through with it. I screamed in frustration. I hated him with everything in me. I felt as if couldn't even shower in peace.

"Yeah ?" I answered with an attitude, a nasty one. Walking into the hallway and out the bathroom, my hair dripped water every where. And I swore I wasn't cleaning it up either.

"Don't be mad at me, some people are here for you." I rolled my eyes at him and went into my room, being sure to slam the door. That boy lied so much. All that ever came out his mouth was lies. Lies, lies and more lies. Like when he broke my tv and blamed Alana. My sister and I share a room, why would she break our tv? And on purpose at that. L

"Liv, dad is here with some people." My twin came running up the steps and busting in the room confused. I covered my body quickly. Shoot I was naked.

"I'll be out in a minute." Was all I said. I waited for her to close the door before going in my closet to get dressed. I couldn't take any chances, my scars were a sensitive subject for me, even when it came down to me telling Alana.

If my dad was here, that meant he was finally coming to get us. I squealed a little thinking about getting out of here but stopped. Who else was here? His wife? but it only made sense if he went to the police about the things I've told him. That thought alone scared me. I thought on it a little longer. I finished getting dress and ran down the stairs and into the foyer. There, my dadstood with two police officers, and a woman with a binder I'm assuming would be a social worker.

Tears slowly came down my face. You couldn't imagine the joy that filled my heart when I saw him and you couldn't believe the things we had hoped we no longer had to suffer. In the back of my mind there was doubt .. and of course fear. My dad had came for us and he was gonna make things better, or so I had hoped. Things were moving so fast I couldn't even take it all in. All I thought about was getting to sleep peacefully tonight and not having to be so mean and mad at the world when I awoke.

"Daddy." I sobbed, at the moment I didn't care about looking like a little bitch. The tough girl act went away and I felt small.

"I know baby, I know." He cried too, except he really didn't know. He didn't know all the things that taken place. We hadn't seen him in four years and it about killed us. Sneaking emails and phone calls wasn't enough. It couldn't replace the actual presence of my dad.
