Her mind was trapped
Between life or death
She knew it was wrong
But she couldn't help herself

She knew she wasn't happy
She wouldn't let herself be
For she was trapped in chains
She wouldn't set herself free

She knew she was broken
Right through the core
She deserved to be worthless
Nothing more

She trapped herself,
Far away from her heart
She feared one day,
It might just start

Her life was sad
And death would welcome her still
She knew it was wrong
For she could never kill

To release herself
She would have to sin
Was it really a sin if she could win?
Win back her smile,
That man once stole?

She knew she was useless
Worth nothing at all
She knew they were clueless
They didn't see her fall

She hid it behind the wall,
That she wrapped around her soul
The wall made if brick,
That would never fall

There was a door
Locked with a key
A key that was hidden
For no one could see

She feared they would hate her
For they all had before
But that didn't matter
She would soon be no more

They didn't try to see,
The wall was too thick
So they sit on the outside,
Chistling with a stick

If they found even a crack,
She might just break
She prayed they would give up
For she was so fake
