I woke up in the morning feeling like I had swallowed ten condensed suns. I don't know why, but I was in a really good mood; in the morning as well. I never wake up in the morning.

I hopped out of bed and travelled downstairs to hopefully greet my mother, but unfortunately for me, she didn't seem to be here judging by the note that she left me:

Vallorina,

I got called into work early today and I won't be back until late tonight. I've left $50 on the kitchen counter for you as there is no food in the house. Have a good day honey!

Mum x

Oh well, I didn't really have anything exciting planned for today. All I wanted to do was watch Netflix and maybe go out and purchase a new phone with the grand that I received last night. I don't have a car, nor do I have a bike. Half the time Damien drives me places, but then sometimes I catch public transport.

As I made my way into my bathroom to brush my teeth, my phone start ringing. It was Damien, "Yo." I said putting toothpaste on my toothbrush.

"Vallorie, I'm coming to pick you up in ten minutes. Something has happened." Damien said sounding like he was in trouble.

"What did you do? Is everything okay?" I asked wetting the tooth brush and bit.

"What? No I didn't do anything, it's Kyle. He's called a town's gang meeting at his warehouse. He left a note in my mailbox this morning." Damien explained.

"Um alright. I'll see you in ten. Bring the note with you." I said and then hung up. What the hell does Kyle want now. He probably wants to show off his new prize possession. Asshole.

I hurried to get ready, sliding on a pair of ripped skinny jeans and a Guns 'n' Roses tank supported with my black Doc Martian's. I let my hair flow freely and then just put on a black beanie. This was technically my normal attire, plain and simple.

A few minutes later I heard Damien's car horn beep from the front of my house. I grabbed my phone and jogged down the stairs, not forgetting to grab the $50 that my mum left me.

"Take your time." Damien said as I reached his car.

"Shut up Damien. Do you have the note?" I asked. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a crumpled up note. It read:

Sup losers,

Something has happened and I'm calling a town's gang meeting in my warehouse. Be there at exactly 11am sharp. We'll be counting members.

Your's sincerely,

Kyle

(Leader of Blood Hawks)

"I bet you is has something to do with Luke Demarco." I said throwing the note back at Damien.

"Probably. This is the first time anyone has called a 'town's gang meeting' before." He explained rolling down his window. I hummed in response, staring at the trees as we drove past them.

We soon made it to Kyle's warehouse and we rocked up about the same time as another gang.

I hopped out of Damien's car and then we met our other two members that were standing in front of a silver ute.

"Hey guys." Josh, one of our members, greeted.

"Hey Josh. Hey Chris." I greeted back bringing them in for a hug.

"Okay, I have something to tell you guys before we go in there." I said departing from their embraces.

"Shoot." Chris said crossing his arms.

"Do you remember Luke Demarco?" I asked and as soon as I mention the name, both of their faces turned red.

"Who wouldn't." Josh said crossing his arms too, mirroring Chris.

"Well, he is Kyle's new member." I said.

"What the fuck?!" Josh shouted and then all eyes were on us.

"Shut up! I just thought I'd tell you now so you don't freak out in there." I said in a 'hush' tone.

"But how are you not freaking out now? Why are you keeping your cool?" Chris asked. He was about to punch someone.

"Trust me I already did freak out, but then I came up with a plan." I explained.

"What is it?" Josh asked.

"Everyone inside! The meeting is about to start!" Zack shouted. Everyone immediately started walking towards the front door or gate or whatever the hell it was. Let the party begin.
