Lily feels like she is internally fighting herself to get up for school. She finally decides to start getting ready after shutting off her alarm clock for about the fourth time this morning. She washes up and puts on her neatly folded uniform placed on her dresser by her lovely maid, Elle. She walks down to the dining room for breakfast, "Good morning, mom, dad. What delicious meal has Elle made on this fine morning?" Ann (Lily's mother), giggles at her daughter's playful etiquette, "Why, she has made a scrumptious pile of pancakes topped with only the finest of strawberries and blueberries in the land." Oscar (Lily's father) adds in, "and they are picked straight from our splendid garden."

We all continued to eat our food and talk until I noticed the time. It was 7:40 a.m., school starts in twenty minutes! "Oh my God! I'm going to be late! Ok, I love you guys! Tell Elle I said thank you! Bye!" I grabbed my bag and rushed out the door. I was running, already half way to school when I forgot, the clock in the dining room was reset. I checked my phone and the real time was 7:00 a.m.. Wow... well, at least I can take my time now.
You're probably wondering why I'm walking when I'm suppose to be rich, right? So, let me explain. It happened last week. There was an electromagnetic shock that went off near my house, it fried everything that had a battery in its aftershock range. We're still in the process of purchasing more vehicles. But to my surprise, I actually like these morning walks. It's so peaceful and I love feeling the soft, cool breeze blow against my face.

I was taking my usual route from my work place to my car when I noticed a certain someone out of the corner of my eye. Based on her uniform, I could tell she went to a highschool located near by. She has beautiful dark brown hair that perfectly matches her soft hazel pupils. I walk over to her and she accidentally bumps into me. "S-sorry." She said it, so innocently... so pure. "It's alright. Anyways, I'm Alex and I'm 19. I recently graduated from Wettengel. It's nice to meet you." I smiled as I waited for her reply. She was about 5'0, it made her look so vulnerable.

He looked like my older brother, but had raven black hair with red highlights. He had green eyes and wore glasses. I finally responded, unaware of my staring, "Hi! It's nice to meet you too Alex! I'm Lily and I'm 14 years old. I just started high school. But I have to go now, school will be starting soon." I waved goodbye and headed towards school. Right after turning around I felt a hand latch onto my arm, whoever it was had a firm hold. I turned to see that Alex was still here. "My car's not too far from here, I could bring you there, I would like to see how my former school is doing."

I patiently waited for her answer. After a couple of glances between us, she hesitantly nodded a yes as I presumed. I motioned her to follow me. Once we got in the car, I decided to break the uncomfortable silence. "Make sure to buckle up," I managed to say, although I never really do it myself. I started driving and turned the radio on, "so, what genre of music are you into?" She still seemed awkward and uncomfortable. After a few seconds, she managed to answer. "Well, I usually listen to a bunch of anime openings. Yes, I am one of those anime binge-watchers, otherwise known as otakus. So, are you into anime?" After getting that out, she gave off a more enthusiastic aura. "Let's see, I have had my share of some good anime series, I'm mostly into gory ones." I lied, I have never even laid eyes on an anime series before, but she smiled happily at the answer. "Really?! Me too! I love gory ones, like corpse party and Tokyo Ghoul!!" Wow, she really is loud.
After a few minutes of more anime talk, she looked a little out of it. "Hey, I think we're going the wrong direction, school's that way." She looked at me a little suspiciously and pointed towards the back of us. Smiling, I replied, "We're using a short cut, I always used this when I attended Wettengel, as did my parents." After some time, she started feeling relaxed again, I pulled over. "What are we doing?" I went to the back of my car. "I'm just going to check the exhaust tank, but I'm grabbing some tools first, it won't take long. Do you have time to spare?"

I looked at my phone, it showed 7:20 a.m., I have plenty time to spare. "Yes, I have plenty of time." He replied with a nod. The trunk closed and he opened the back door behind me. "Sorry, I just need more tools." He sounded happy as he said it.
With no time for me to react, a cloth was held over my nose and mouth. The world was getting dimmer and dimmer, then everything went black.Alex's P.O.V. (Point of View)
Finally, she is mine. I caressed her soft face. Such an innocent little cutie, and she's all mine. "Sleep well my little princess."
