He'll start texting you back slower and slower until you barely talk.
You'll realize a change in his attitude and mood. It's like you'll what to question it and make sure everything is okay but don't want to be annoying or anything so u keep your thoughts to yourself. It'll tear you up inside because you're not sure what the future holds and all you want it him.
