Sake of your happiness;

Roses are red
Violets are blue
You were an angel
Dressed in new
For now you're that I had lost
All I can hope for is to forget you
Before the roses start wilting
And my doubts find meaning
It's time to forgive me too
So I'll always watch over you
Even if you're seeing someone new

It's been awhile since I've seen you
Now when I'm across the world
I see him and you
Sitting under the canopy
Like it's the sweet 70s
You've never been happier
To see someone so into your words
While it's bleak and painful for me to remember of all the promises that were so sentimental that'll never be fulfilled.
For we have lost ourselves
in the ill fated hullabaloo
we called love

And as I emend
The memories of you and I
Mendaciously speaking to myself
That the jovial days of us
Are causes from you
And the crippling sadderdaze of us
Are causes from mine
I seem to be much happier
Fooling myself
With edited memories
Which never happened between us

This new found feeling inside
Has made me lose my pride
For your presence was like no other kind
And you've made me a little confused inside
For you've brought back the pain
That I'd solemnly sweared to hide
Back into my never ending mind
That's starting to die from the overwhelming
Love that's been derived inside
So let me fantasies before
I start to lose myself
In the never ending lies
That I've been burying inside

come back, I'm still waiting
