Anything, Anyone

Perhaps I should try a little harder

Perhaps smile a little wider

Extend my hand a little further

Give my pride another blow

Anything, anyone will do

Because silence is calm and peaceful

Until it claws it's way into my chest

And let's loose screaming demons

And I am drowning in my loneliness

Screams building up inside me

Screw every last shred of dignity

Anything, anyone will do

Because it all comes down to when

I am alone and shaking with sobs

There is no one to hold me

No one to understand me

Anything, anyone will do

Screw being unique

Screw being different

Please just make it stop

I don't want to be alone

Anything, anyone will do.
