It was my 19th birthday today. I was so excited as I always love my birthdays however I never knew it could have been so dark. In my chronicles , you'll learn why I am the way I am today.  "Morning sweetheart!" mom says , opening the curtains.
"Morning." I say bluntly , rubbing my eyes waking up.
"Can't believe you're bloody 19 , happy birthday my love" mom says , sliding over 2 huge bags and a small box. She had bought me the faux fur coat I'd been banging on about for the last month , a beautiful givenchy handbag and a watch. I was so thrilled I jumped on her while crying , I don't think I was more happy in my whole life than I was then. "It's 7:45 , you better start getting ready for school otherwise you'll be late. " mum whispers while patting my back.
"Oh crap." I say half laughing. I quickly went in the shower and attempted to get dressed as fast as I could , just about making it out the door at 8:10am. I walked down the road happily with my head High , i honestly felt like the best girl in the world.  The sun was bright and shining down on me and the sky was a lovely baby blue. My phone was vibrating in my blazer pocket , I took it out and it said Caleb.
"Hellooooooo my sugar dumpling happy birthday , I'll be picking you up after school to take you out." Caleb said.
"Thanks baby , id love that" I said enthusiastically.
"Coolio , have a great day love you lots." Caleb said
"Love you too , see ya " I said.
Me and Caleb have been dating for approximately 1 year and 5 months. He's 6 months older than me and he hasn't changed a bit since we first met. I feel like there's a deep connection between us , I generally feel as if we could be soulmates.
8:20.
"Fuck , im going to be late!" I said in my head.
School starts at 8:30 and if you're a minute late you have to stay at lunch and that's all a bit too long for me. I ran as fast as my legs could carry me and luckily I got there on time. Guess it was my birthday luck hehe. First lesson was maths. I bloody hate maths. Absolutely hate it. As I walk in the whole class starts singing happy birthday. I find it so embarrassing , like what are you supposed to do while they sing that for a minute. Awkward. 3 lessons pass. The lunch bell goes and I make my way to the canteen. "ALEXA YOU SAUSAGE , COME HERE WE GOT YOU A CAKE AND EVERYTHING!" all the girls shouted. Now my clique. My 4 girls are Clarissa , Yazmin , Clara and Zara. We've all been friends from year 7 and we've always had eachothers back , if I'm honest I couldn't ask for better friends. They all sang me happy birthday. Again. Which was even more awkward as everyone was staring at me. After we all had a slice of cake laughing and joking , it was nice. They all pulled out a ring box and I had no clue why. "SURPRISE!" They all said in unison excitedly. It was a pandora ring. I really wanted one aswell they are so cute. I hugged them all and thanked them. I mean how thoughtful was that. Anyways I  made it through all 5 lessons , still in a good mood which was great as I'm normally not in the mood at the end of the day. BEEP BEEP.
"Hey gorgeous you ready." Caleb said with a smirk on his face.
"Of course" I said smiling. He played Chris brown. I was surprised because he hates him but I love him so I guess because it was my birthday he though he'd be nice and put him on for me. He was on the main road and then he started taking all these back roads. He was acting too sketchy , he wasn't making conversation like he normally does. "Erm babe , where exactly are we going?" I asked quietly. "You'll see soon enough." He said semi laughing and then reaches and touches my hand. We finally arrive at this forest area , kind of near the road but not. Caleb gets out and starts getting stuff out the boot. As I go to open the door he shouts "Hey , not yet it's a surprise stay in the car for now."
He sets up a picnic. How cute is that?
"Now you may come out." He says. He wasn't really making much eye contact with me. I still felt like there was something off about him today.
