Chapter 2: Meet Joshua

Joshua's P.O.V.

"Would you like anything, else Mr. Bennett?" Jordan, my assistant, asked me.

"No thank you." I said with a firm voice, and with that he walked out the office.

I rubbed my hands down my face. "Why so much work!?" I yelled out loud to myself.

My phone started buzzing.

"Hello?"

"BUDDY!!!"

I almost dropped my phone. "Peter there is absolutley no reason to yell in the phone."

"Hey whatcha doing?" He ignored me.

"What I always do work, why?"

"HEY!! WATCH OUT!!"

I ducked down thinking something was about to hit me.

"Oh sorry I'm driving, but do you wanna go out tonight?"

I haven't been in the mood for a club lately. "Umm..."

"Come on man."

"I don't feel like having thirsty women all over me."

"Aw come on it's a Saturday night. Lets go have some fun"

"Alright man. LETS DO IT!" I yelled.

"WOOOOO!!!! Let's burn this city down!!"

With that I hung up the phone. I swear Peter is gonna cause me to go deaf.

I was walking out of the office when my ex came up to me.

"Hey hot stuff."

"Hi Kelly, sorry I gotta go I'll talk you later alright."

"Aw but we could have a little fun before you leave" She got closer to me.

I backed up, "Um...how about not."

With that I swiftly walked away from her and headed home.

When I got home I immediately called James.

"Bro you would not guess what just happened?"

"You met Darth Vader and he turns out to be your father?"

"Yes James Darth Vader is my father and we are really close to each other."

"Oh my gosh! Really! What is he like? Does he always breathe heavily?" James starts firing questions at me.

"James I was being sarcastic but anyways I ran into Kelly."

"Aw man what happened?"

"She just tried to get me to sleep with her as usual." I said it like it was normal.

"You need to get a restraining order on her. She needs to suffer the PAIN!!" James shouted in the phone.

"Okay I need to get smarter friends cause this is not gonna work out at all."

"You know you love us." James said to me like I was a baby.

"Yep. But anyways I'll see you later I got a little more work to do then I'll be ready for tonight."

"Alright man, be safe, and don't let the Hulk smash your laptop."

"Umm...Okay?" I was confused on how hulk came in the picture.

"Bye"

"Bye"

Alright now let me do this work and get on with my life.

*Two hours later"

"Yall ready?" I asked peter and James.

"Um no sir, first you need to change out of that hideous outfit." Peter said in his gay man voice.

"Dude you looked like you picked out random clothes at a thrift shop." James laughed.

"To be rich you sure look poor." Peter thought out louded. Me and James looked at him. When he noticed he said that out loud his eyes widened. "Oh sorry that was meant for me."

"Fine I'll go change then we leave alright." I stated.

They nodded. Well Peter moved his head in a circle. I worry about him sometimes.

I came back and they gave me a thumbs up and we headed out to the club.

"WOOOOOOO!!! CLUB HERE WE COME!!"
