I hate Valentine's Day so much. I'm spending this fake ass holiday with my best friend Ryan. We both agree it's stupid and we are both lonely so what's the point. So as a prank we both got each other cheesy stupid gifts. Everyone comments saying we either should date or they think we are already dating. Ryan isn't the dating type though. I on the other hand have always had a little crush on Ry. He's so sweet and shy and to me he's perfect. I had to get him a gift just as perfect as he is. I got him a new songwriting book some new guitar picks and a new guitar case.
A little later in the day we are hanging out watching a movie at my house. As the movie comes to an end we agree it's time for our little gift exchange and some more popcorn. The only scary part is I put a note in his present telling him about my feelings. I'm terrified for how he will react. As he grabs my present he tells me he has something he wants to say.
"I've been meaning to tell you this for quite awhile now"
"You know you can tell me anything Ryan. So what is it that out have to say"
"Just open your gift and later I'll tell you ok. No need to worry about this now. I've waited this long to tell you. It can wait a little bit longer"
Well. It's been a hot minute since I've been updating. Let's say freshman year isn't the easiest. Neither is falling for a senior but oh well. If you guys are still reading this just know it means pretty much everything to me. I'm so thankful for all of you guys.
