Entry #207

In a land unknown to some lived a handsome king. His hair as blonde as hay, his smile as bright as the sun. He loved laughing, singing—and then her.

Her beautiful stars would decorate the night sky. Her home, the moon, would glisten brightly and enchant all those before it. But what he didn't know was how truly dark the world is.

The moon was a thief that stole light from the sun. The stars were only little specks useful for bothering the constellations.

When facing this cruel life anyone would turn bitter, but what was more hurtful than anything else was heartbreak. She had seen the Sun King gaze lovingly at her from below and could not wait for the moment in which they met. She believed that would be her happy ending. But how wrong she was to believe such a foolish dream.

Once the Sun King saw the "beauty" of the night sky, he became frightened. When he returned to his people, he told them of the horrid things he saw and damaged the poor heart of the once kind and beautiful Moon Goddess.
Blinded by her broken heart, she went on a rampage and killed the Sun King. She took his place on the throne and from that day forth, everything lost color.

Unable to move on from her heartbreak, the goddess wanted everyone to forever feel her pain and placed a curse upon the people that unless she is able to find her colors again, no one will be able to either.

This land of which I speak of, is around us. When you gaze into a mirror, it seems that you see a reflection but, it not. At least not in the way we believe. A mirror reflects our soul. The force inside. Behind the mirror is this land. While ours is full of colors, theirs is full of bland.

The Goddess, once able to see is now blind. Blind to the care she is receiving and blind to the love going her way. The only way to set herself free was to see him again.

Every single miserable day she spent there in that castle, reminded her of every day with him. It reminded her of the passion they shared.

Learn from my mistakes and remember,

Love is a dangerous force
A power strong enough to move mountains
It pushes rivers
And continue the flow of life
And colors

Soulmates
Oh what a funny word
But oh,
what a true word as well
A lover connected through spirit
Is a true lover indeed

Love that flows beyond the walls of life and death
Is true love indeed

While it took us a while to see
What was right in front of us
We know now
That what we share is true
The road to get there
Was long tiring and hurtful
Love is worth it

Give someone a chance to give you this feeling
Of love and happiness
