Chapter 1
I'm Jamie Gardner. I am short, white, stupid, and quite frankly, extremely gay. This is my first year at this new school, Michigan High, and I really don't know what to expect. I came from Pennsylvania, but my mom got her job promoted, so here we are. Tomorrow is my first day of school, so I got my clothes ready the night before. I did my hair, and I got out my sperries. I used to do my eyebrows, but everybody used to make fun of me for it, so I'm sticking to bushy eyebrows. I set my alarm clock for 6:30 am. You're ready, Jamie, I thought to myself. But I know I'm not.
