One year earlier...
'Last night, two men by the names of Joshua Dun and Tyler Joseph mysteriously went missing, just one week after their release from jail. As reported, the two stayed in a hotel in Santa Monica overnight, before moving to different locations. Families of both sides recalled, Dun was going home to Los Angeles, while Joseph went to Columbus, Ohio. Despite this, the two are now missing, reported to the police by Joseph's wife, Jenna.'
'I tried to call Tyler, several times, but he wouldn't pick up. He wouldn't even call me back. His ID and wallet and phone were sent in the mail... for me. But I have no clue where he is now, I can't even call Josh. I was also told that Tyler's flight ticket that day was cancelled at the last minute.'
'Joshua Dun and Tyler Joseph, who were guilty for murdering a forty-year-old man and given three years in jail, have been released. But both men are now reported as missing, their families were unable to contact them and have had their ID's, wallets, phones and luggages anonymously sent to them in the mail.'
'No notes were left behind, but the policemen are now engaged in the cases and are looking for them, both in Los Angeles and O-'

The airport was crowded, packed with huge families planning to go on vacation. They were all busy with their phones and laptops and ipads and checking their luggages, or checking their kids. None of them seemed to notice the two men, both dressed in black from head to toes, standing in the middle of the airport and looking at each other vacantly. One of them wore a cap, which was pulled down low to cover his eyes, while the other had a beanie on. Neither brought anything else other than a small backpack.
"Dude," one of them - the one who wore a cap - said quietly, showing the other an iPhone wrapped in a plastic bag. His finger scrolled down against the screen, perhaps he was looking at the internet. "Are you seeing this right now? We're all over the freaking news, they're trying to find us."
"Heh," the other, wearing the beanie, scoffed. "Those idiots. They're not finding us soon, though."
The first man nodded. "Yeah, not when we're this good. Let me know when you get to Ohio."
The second replied: "I know, I'll make sure the plane don't crash."
They both looked at each other for the last time, before going in different directions.
