You were getting ready for your evening with Taehyung. He has been your boyfriend for about two months. He was coming over for your small anniversary thing.
Taehyung finally accepted the offer to stay with the boys in their huge house. He moved in and got a job. You didn't see him as much through the week days. He worked 5pm to 11pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
You and kookie have also gotten close. Y'all were pretty good friends. He would come over when Taehyung could not and y'all would just sit on your bed and laugh.
You smiled when you thought about the past two months. You were happier than ever.
You slipped on a pair of leggings and a nice long shirt. You tied a flannel around your waist.
You fixed up your makeup and heard a knock on the door.
You grinned and ran to the door. You opened expecting Taehyung.
You had to blink twice.
"Hello y/n" he said quietly
"What do you want?" You snarked.
He completely changed topic. "You look amazing. Let me guess...Taehyung's coming over" he asked.
"Ian why are you here?!" You said folding your arms.
"I wanted to come and apologize. I've been broken without you. Isabelle isn't like you. She doesn't make me happy. Y/n please get back with me" he said almost tearing up.
"No" you looked down.
"I'm begging you"
"Ian no. I am happier now than I was ever with you. Happier than I've ever been. I don't want to get back together with you"
He looked down. "Just know I'll always love you"
"Get over it"
He walked to his car and you could hear his shaky breaths. You felt awful. You did love him but that was in the past. You didn't love him as much as you liked Taehyung.
He got in his car and pulled away. Almost the second he pulled out Taehyung pulled in with a confused face.
He got out of his car and smiled. He walked over and pulled me into a hug.
"Hello darling" He said blushing.
"Hello tae" You said taking in his scent.
You both complimented each other at the same time.
"You look amazing y/n"
"You smell nice"
You both bursted out laughing. He looked at you and cupped your cheeks. "You're so cute"
"No I'm not" You said playfully pouting.
You huffed.
He sighed. "Yes you are I prooooommmiiiiseeeeee" He sang out.
You both talked for a little outside before walking in.
"Good afternoon" he said bowing down to your mom.
She smiled back. "Good afternoon Taehyung" it was funny wow different your mom was around him. Since he was so sweet, she was so sweet.
You and Taehyung walked over and sat on the couch. He cuddled you as playing with your hair.
"So who was here earlier" he said in a lower voice than usual. He sounded...jealous.
"I-it was Ian" You said nervous. You knew how tae could be when he was mad.
"And what did he want?" He said in the same tone. Except this time he sounded more annoyed than anything.
"He was begging..." he stared at you as asking for you to continue.
"He was begging for me to get back together with him. He came to the door and started talking and I made him leave. I told him I was happier now than ever and I would never want to get back together with him"
His emotions confused you. He didn't look mad like how you thought. He just leaned in and gave you a peck on the lips.
"Are you really happier now than ever?" He asked blushing.
"Yes. I really am. I don't deserve you Taehyung...you are perfect" you said genuinely.
He pulled you into a tighter hug. "I love you, sunshine"
"I love you too" You said smiling.
The rest of the night included dinner with your mom, who seemed in a great mood, and snuggles on the couch. Your mother didn't allow him to stay the night so you definitely didn't tell her about all the times he stayed while she was gone.
Two Weeks Before Prom
You woke up in your bedroom and opened your phone.

You smiled.

-I stayed up late

-look out your window
You didn't reply and looked out your window.
You saw a bunch of rose petals. They spelt out something. It took you a second to read it.
You slipped on a hoodie and shoes and walked outside.
You saw Taehyung grinning like an idiot.
The roses read 'will you go to prom with me?'
You almost started tearing up.
You almost ran to him and hugged him.
"Taehyung you didn't have to do this. You could've just asked me. I would've said yes anyways."
"But it wouldn't be as special. Plus I am not even finished" he said with a mischievous grin.
"Wait wait you didn't answer me properly so...y/n.... will you go to prom with me?"
"Yes taehyung. Yes yes yes" he kissed your cheek.
You realized how nice he looked and how much thought he was putting into this. You wondered how long he had been up.
"I couldn't ask for a better boyfriend. You have really changed my life around." You Started tearing up.
He put his head on top of yours and just held you.
Taehyung changed your life. He completely changed you.
"Y/n I love you. Thank you for coming into my sad life and giving it a meaning. Thank you for everything." He said still holding you but looking into your eyes.
He leaned forward and kissed you. He was giggling as he pulled away.
"You're cute" He sad smiling.
"No taehyung...you're cute"
