So Joe came out, cut a promo on me, and before we knew it, Regal came out and announced that we'd be having a match later tonight.. And in case you're wondering, "Woah Peri, are you gonna overcome the odds and somehow beat Samoa Joe?"... No. I'm not. That's not the finish of the match, at least. Look, I'm not gonna make you guys sit through one of the most one-sided matches in all of NXT, so I'll just tell you what didn't happen : I didn't beat Samoa Joe.
In fact, I barely got any hits in on him. Like I said, "One of the most one-sided matches". So yeah, that wasn't very fun to participate in. Especially since I was the one getting put in the coquina clutch.
I got to the back after the match and I didn't really talk to anyone. I pretty much just sat on a containment crate in the performance center room until the main event of the night was about to start. I didn't really want to miss the main event : Shinsuke Nakamura vs Bobby Roode for the NXT Championship. Now that's a dream match if I've ever seen one. And hey, just because I'm employed doesn't mean I can't be a fan.
