A/N: A quick Author's Note here. All the images I use, including the cover page are not mine. I just nicked them off Pinterest. All credits go to the original artists.
BTW, this chapter is going to be just a short Epilouge kind of thing so please don't complain about the length. Also, for those who don't know, I have another ongoing story "A Cloud's Anchor" which is an Alaudexoc story so please check that out too. I am shamelessly advertising here so onwards with the chapter!
Hayato blinked away the light from his eyes, wondering who had opened the curtains of his room. He was about to curse the culprit when a weight against his chest made him glance down. Suddenly the events of the previous night came back to him and he watched with a small smile as the petite brunette snuggled into him as if he were her personal heater. The green-eyed boy finally understood why people bothered with relationships. There was some sort of eternal bliss in waking up and seeing your beloved's face first thing in the morning, knowing that they spent the whole with you.
Yes, beloved. Over the night both of them had woken up again and again to satiate their desire for one another. But sometime after the fourth-FOURTH- session he had realized that his lust actually stemmed from love instead of carnal desire. As he had watched her face contort in ecstasy Hayato realized that he had loved Miura Haru for a long time. Only his stubbornness and insecurity had stopped him from knowing sooner. It explained the sudden tightening in his chest when he sometime watched her smiling and laughing along with Sasagawa Kyoko or his sister. It also explained the annoyance he felt when she got too friendly with any other r males of the family. Uri had probably known its master's feeling as the cat insisted on running to Haru at every chance it got. Man, his cat was smarter than him!
Hayato's musings were cut off as he felt his (hopefully) future girlfriend stirring. She was scrunching up her nose mumbling about 'stupid sun' and 'moving body warmer'. In the past he might have found it annoying but at that moment it was quite endearing.
When Haru finally woke, she was surprised to find a naked Hayato in her bed. Wait a second! Why was she on the couch again? Memories of the night before rushed in her head and she turned bright red at her wanton behaviour. Gods! She had acted like a hormonal teenager! The brunette tried to fake being asleep but spring green orbs caught her own chocolate ones and she knew it was futile. She was dead, yup, bye-bye everyone; tell Byakuran he could have her chocolates. Any moment now the silver-haired Guardian would start berating her and insisting that she forget anything that happened between them. Then she would die from embarrassment, at least she fulfilled her greatest fantasy.
To Haru's immense surprise, Hayato did neither of those things. Instead he smiled softly and started stroking her hair. The brunette was surprised at his tender gesture but not entirely displeased with it. It was quite nice, to be honest. "Mi-Haru." He started in a soft voice. "Look at me." So she did and was surprised to find determination and a tiny hint of nervousness in his green orbs. "Do you think what we did last night was a mistake?" Haru thought it was a lot of things- amazing, incredible, hot- but definitely not a mistake, so she shook her head in response. A wide grin broke out on his face and she swore her heart skipped a beat or two. He continued in that cheerful voice, "So you wouldn't be opposed to another round." Haru was about to argue that she was not going to be his personal whore when he continued, "and a date when we get back at that library-slash-café you like so much."
The brunette was amazed to hear that he knew about her favourite place but even more so when she processed his words. He was asking her out on a DATE!! Son a biscuit he was asking her on a date. She wanted to dance a jig right then and there.
When the cosplay-lover did not respond for a while Hayato grew worried. Maybe he was too bold; maybe she thought of this as a one-night stand only and was thinking about how to reject him. Or maybe- His thoughts were cut off as a pair of soft, sweet lips descended upon his in a chaste kiss. "Yes." Came the soft but firm whisper and they proceeded with round eight.

When they arrived back at the Vongola HQ both the Storms decided to tell their friends about the recent development in their relationship. Surprisingly, no one was surprised and some even muttered 'about time' at hearing the new. Apparently all of their friends including the Shimon, Varia, Millefiore and Cavallone had been aware for the two Storms' feelings for each other way before them. Bets had been placed as to how long it will take for them to confess to each other. Haru felt a little betrayed when she found out that Kyoko had too been part of the betting pool but a promise of a cake of the brunette's liking from the younger Sasagawa had her satisfied.
Thus, the Underworld rejoiced that the two closest Storms of Vongola Decimo were finally dating.

A five-year old girl with sharp green eyes and a mop of brown hairtugged at a silver-haired man's hand as she lay in bed with her faithful stuffed cat, "Papa? Did you and Mama fight a lot?" Hayato looked at his daughter, puzzled. "Who told you that, principessa?" Lavin yawned and said sleepily, "Uncle Takeshi did." Vowing to himself to have a chat with the baseball-idiot, he faced his daughter to deny her accusations but saw that she had already fallen asleep. The thirty-year old chuckled lightly and kissed the girl'sforehead. "Good night, Princess." And he went out the room, softly shutting the door. As soon as he turned around, he saw his wife standing there, leaning against the opposite wall. Smiling coyly she said, "Princess? She has you wrapped around her finger, Hayato." He hummed in agreement as her neared the brunette, "What can I say? She's just too much like her mother."
Haru smirked at him (an action he found incredibly sexy) before pulling his tie to bring him down to her level. She tip toed slightly and whispered in his ear. "I am feeling like re-enacting that scene from that Parisian hotel eight years ago. What you say, love?"
In response her husband of seven years simply carried her, bridal-style, to their bedroom and set about fulfilling her wish.

About nine months later, Gokudera Hibiki was born. To his father's joy and mother's dismay his first-ever- words were 'Vongola'.
Hayato was banished from the bedroom by Haru for a week after that.
