I trotted to the shack, my tail swaying evenly behind me. I frowned, hearing some ponies talk about me. A few looked at my flank and snickered. "Nice flank, weirdo!" some stallion called. I exhaled, closing my eyes. "You okay?" some-pony asked. I looked over, attempting to grin. "Yeah, Chocolate," I said, trying to appear happy. He stuck out his tongue. "Yeah, sure. Liar," he mumbled playfully. I giggled, stopping. "Listen, Chocolate, you don't have to be nice. I know..I know you just do this to look good." Tears welled in my eyes. I looked away. "No," he said, picking up my head with his hoof. "No, Sunny. I...I love you. Very much." I felt a tear drop off of my cheek. "Sunny Star?" a voice called from above. I looked up, my eyes landing on Princess Luna. No-pony knows it, but she's my mom. I sighed, and she spotted Chocolate. "Ah, Chocolate Flurry. You won't mind if I borrow her for a bit, now will you my dear subject?" she asked, landing quietly on the dirt below.

Chocolate shook his head. Then he lowered it. "N-no your majesty," he stammered. I scoffed. "Ha! Blank Flank, Blank Flank!" someone called, trotting by. Mom stopped them, glaring at them. "And who are you, my pony?" she called, her loud Nightmare-Moon voice kicking in. "I'm...I'm Scaly Ginger," he stammered, backing away. "Begone, foul one!" Mom growled, pointing her hoof away. "Y-yes, Your Majesty," the pony stammered, galloping away. Mom looked down at me, a victorious smile slipping on her face. "Now, come on, my child. You need to come ho- To the castle! Yes, to the castle for royal duties!" I nodded, spreading my large wings. We both took off at once.
