Brody walked next to me with his hands stuffed in his leather jacket pockets. He didn't even look at me. I think I should feel relieved but I wasn't. For some reason I wanted him to look at me. I wanted him to pull me close to him again. "Are you cold?" He asked not even looking at me.
I wrapped my arms around me and nodded, "Yea, a little." He finally looked over at me. He took off his jacket and put it over my shoulders. I could feel a blush creep on my cheeks. Brody stopped walking and stood outside a roller rink.
"Here we are." He whispered a little running his fingers through his hair.
"A roller rink? Figured you were going to take me to the club and murder me." I mumbled cocking my head at me.
"You know I'm not like how everyone thinks I am." He snapped grabbing my arm pulling me inside with him. I glared at him and pulled my arm out of his grip. I looked away from Brody and around the place.
The walls were neon colors and so were the skates. There was a corner area where you could smell food and then there was another corner which was taken up by an arcade. There were booths around the place then in the middle was a giant roller rink. I smiled a little. "Woah Marlee! Brody brought a girl." I heard someone shout. Brody and I turned around and I saw a middle aged man. He was large, not heavy set or anything. The largeness was muscle, you could tell through his shirt.
"Oooo he did!!" A petite red head squealed walking out of the arcade. I looked over at Brody and saw him rub his face in embarrassment. "Awh she's so pretty Brody. He finally didn't bring over a slut."
My eyes grew wide, "Oh I'm not dating Brody if you're thinking that. We met a party my sister dragged me to and he asked if I wanted to get out cause it was only stupid. Parties aren't my thing." I rambled, "and neither is meeting new people."
Marlee laughed and pulled me into a hug, "oh hun it's fine! Oh I'm so sorry, hi I'm Marlee, Brody's mother and this is Jackson, Brody's step dad." I smiled and shook Jackson's hand.
"Nice to meet you both." I smiled. The bell rang and all of us looked over at the door. I walked in 3 tall good looking boys. All wearing leather. All wearing cocky smiles.
"Hey bro!" One of them grinned pulling Brody into a bro hug, "who's this?" He asked.
"Just some chick named Emily, I picked her up from a party," Brody shrugged. "Emily this is Ty." He pointed to the blonde who bro hugged him, "Joe." He pointed to a black haired boy who winked at me, "and lastly Calum." He pointed to a boy with brownish hair.
"Hi." Calum smiled shaking my hand. I blushed and mumbled hi back. I glanced at Brody.
"Hey I'm going to walk home, bro. Take your jacket back." I said throwing him his jacket. "By the way I'm not some chick who you picked up. I don't even like you." I glared storming out.
He didn't pick me up.
But then again I felt like he did... And I was glad he did.
That is until Brody showed up at my locker Monday morning with the 3 idiots.
