5. A Sudden Loss

A few days ago, I went to place some flowers for my mother and father's grave having a hard time staying close to their tombstone. But I have to go back at school.

When I came to school, I had to hide my feelings from many people in school when they all look at me. Until then, I took a few hours of studying in English class and algebra test in math class.

After school was over, I went to the tree and sat down leaning my head to my knees hiding my face while tears are slipping heavily. Until then, I hear someone saying my name.

"Miku? What are you doing sitting at the tree?" he said as I looked up, I figured it was jungkook. I faked a smile looking at him.

"I-im fine...r-really" I said as I was stuttering. Jungkook sat next to me putting his arm around my shoulder knowing what I'm feeling.

"You don't look fine, you can tell me what's making you feel down." said jungkook.

He looked at me feeling worried until I made my answer.

"m-my mom and dad....th-theyre g-gone..." I said with a weak voice. Jungkook was shocked and extremely worried about me.

"what?! How did it happen?!" He said as he looked at me in the eyes.

"th-they had a m-major car accident...I thought they would be back by now...a-and..." My words suddenly broke while I began to cry and jungkook hugged me closer to him.

"shhh shhh...I know what you mean, you must've gotten very strong...don't cry miku-ah. Wanna go to my friends house?" jungkook said with his encouraging words and also asking me. I looked down still with a sad face.

"s-sure" I stood up as jungkook puts his arm around my shoulder again and walking with him.

When he took me to his house, all of his friends were looking at me feeling down. I looked at them still with tears.

"hey jungkook, anything wrong with miku?" Jin asked Jungkook.

"yeah...she had a loss of her mom and dad." replied jungkook.

His friends got shocked and looked at me worried.

"Oh no, poor Miku." Said Taehyung as he came up to me including his friends.

"Miku's parents had passed away from a major car accident." Continued Jungkook.

"We're so sorry for your sudden losses Miku-ah." Said Yoongi.

"I-it's okay Yoongi...I-I'll be staying home myself." I said as I was crying.

"No no no, we'll get your stuff from your apartment and let you live here with us. We can't leave you there by yourself alone." Said Jimin.

"Your life would hurt more when you'll be alone." Said Namjoon.

"Like we said miku-ah, we'll stay by your side to protect you." Said Taehyung.

"We'll keep you strong with us Miku" Said Jin embracing me with his hugs.

"Y-you guys make me feel special here, thank you so much!" I cried happily.
