The Necklace

6 months earlier...

Rebecca's mum drove the car up the new drive of their new house...Rebecca looks out the car window at her new house "are you coming to help get some of these boxes into the house then or are you just going to stare at the house all day?" Rebecca's mum says laughing "I'm coming..." Rebecca says rolling her eyes. She takes a box off her mum and walks up the drive towards the door of her new house which was wide open and puts the box down in the living room so she could take a look around her new house. Her eyes scan the whole room which was pretty plain with white walls and a fire place "it's nice isn't it?" Her mum says putting her box on the living room floor too "it's alright I guess" Rebecca replies still looking around the living room " can I have a look at my room, you've got all my stuff in there haven't you?" Rebecca asks looking at her mum "yes Rebecca your stuff is already in there waiting for you to unbox" her mum says smiling "thanks" Rebecca says before racing up the stairs to see her new room. Her mum lands on the sofa letting out a big sigh looking around, Rebecca slowly opens her bedroom door to see it full of boxes with her belongings in. The room was plain with old pieces of wallpaper hanging off the walls....it looked like an old person had been living there for some time. Rebecca opened the curtains which were covered in dust and she let out a big scream to find a dead corpse of an unidentifiable animal. Rebecca's runs in panic to her daughters screams "Rebecca! Rebecca what is it!?!" She says seeing Rebecca standing by the window as she slowly approaches her she sees the dead animal "oh my god...." she says in disgust while taking Rebecca away from it "darling why don't you go and check some other part of the house and I'll sort this out" she says with a some what soft and gentle voice with a smile creasing her skin so softly. Rebecca nods and wonders off to explore some of the house.
