The Secret Past- Part 3

A million thoughts flew into Charlotte's head. "Adalin? I remember that name from somewhere. Could this be my sister? The sister I was forced to forget? What happened to me?" And in a blink of an eye everything around Charlotte swirled and vanished. She was dizzy once again. She knew what was happening though. She was getting sent back to her world.

Charlotte woke back up in the same place she felt dizzy before. She stumbled getting back up from the nausea caused by traveling through worlds but eventually walked normally. "Could Shade be my sister? Is this why she is always unseen by everyone in the village? Is that why she always wears something over her head to cover her scar? Is she a witch? I've got to go find her!" Charlotte thought about going back to the village to see if Shade was there. But she thought of something different. "What is the one place Charlotte that you always hear the music by the loudest? Where is it? Think Charlotte think. Oh I know! It's near the side of the mountain." Charlotte wasted no time and hurried near the rocks that were near the mountainside. She took a step back and looked at the rocks trying to find any shapes or designs. She never saw it before but they were almost shaped as a doorway. Charlotte pressed her hand against one of the rocks. And long before her eyes the doorway became visible. She didn't hesitate stepping inside the door and into the dark room. It was very dark inside. It had a musky smell of old furniture that lay around. Nothing was colorful while she walked in the room. The objects she found were all black and grey. Except for one thing that caught her eye. In the far corner, she found a crystal box. It looked like the same one she saw in that time warp she traveled through.

She grabbed the box and opened it. And long before her ears, the hum of the music played and coursed throughout her body.
