These are the dark days
After the rejection comes in
Writing your fate, playing the plays
Causing Hell from deep within
You think to yourself
What if....
What if they weren't taken by somebody else?
What if....
What if you were prettier or handsomer?
What if....
What if you were a guy?
What if you were a girl?
What if sexy, ugly, or pretty didn't matter?
What if it didn't matter if you were skinnier or fatter?
I don't know anymore
But the dark days have just begun
In which I decided to explore
Within myself where the sun can't cure
The question I'm looking for
The answer to answer it
What is the question?
It can't possibly be "To be or not to be"
What is the question after rejection?
What is it that holds their affection?
What do you want?
What can you do?
What can you say?
What can you do?
When can you move on?
When can you let it go?
What is your question after rejection?
I think I know what mine is....
But, then I'm not sure
But, Maybe I should tell you it.
Even if I don't know the answer
To this question among the dark days
Will I Ever Be Good Enough?
For Anyone....
