Chapter 2

I hurriedly made my way to first lesson

which was history. I was very good at

this because I dedicate my nights to

reading and completing assignments.

   The bell rang about a hour later

which signifies the end of the first class

but then I had Maths and it was the

only class I had with my best friend

Nicky. Nicky is my only friend here just

like me, she goes almost unnoticed.

Behind her back they call her a freak

and say weird stuff about her. To what

I hear gossiping around is that she lives

close to the forest that everyone in the

town is told not to enter. She told me

that her house is very close to the forest

but she never dare to enter but

whenever she speaks about the forest

you can see a glint of mischief in her

eyes. I have never once told her about

my abuse because I Never had the

courage to mention it to her. I have

asked her a thousand times about what

her parents do because I never once

saw them in the our small town. I

know something is not right about the

story that she told me but i cant force

her to tell me everything.

I was alone in class because I was early

as always, I took my seat at the regular

back.

"Best Friend" . I heard someone shout

jerking me out of my thoughts. Only to

see Nicky staring down at me with her

ocean blue eyes. She jumped straight

onto my lap and gave me a longing hug

" I miss you so much. Do you know

how long i haven't seen your ugly face." 

She shouted. By the mention of that I

simply could not contain my laughter.

"You, you are one crazy ass bitch. It was

only two days girl. It was just the

weekend. " I said in between laughter.

"I know I know its just that you are my

one true friend in this universe and i

missed you alot" she said with a wide

grin across her face.

I then pulled her into another bone

crushing hug until we were

interrupted by Gabriel the school slut.
