Audrey's Story
Chapter 1
"I hope you like the way I taste," she said. "Merry Christmas."
A smile lit the corner of Audrey's twitching mouth. He spread his arms, and she moved to meet him, a perfect photograph or beautiful painting, maybe a girlfriend returning from an extended business trip, or his wife returning to him from beyond the grave. At this point, he would welcome either of those things. He had never hooked up with someone he had met at a bar, might be interesting. Then, the woman fitted herself against him like a long-lost puzzle piece, and Audrey understood, too late, that something about his life had just turned upside down.
The kiss tasted like stale cigarettes on a whiskey sunrise, like licking caked dust off a dirty window sill. The inside of her mouth was a baking swamp. Her tongue pressed against his teeth, first searching, then breaching his enamel dam and spilling into his mouth like foul runoff. Audrey tasted shit, the tangy copper of blood, and something that reminded him of aged, dried up candle wax mixed with gone over cheese. His hands slipped from the practically goddess-like curves of the woman's hips- she was, in fact, incredibly attractive, like a fitness model or a female sports mannequin in a store window- and flattened against her chest. He felt the soft, warm curve of her breasts against his palms- and oh, God, in a different situation, how fucking romantic this would be- and shoved. Not hard, at first. He did not want to injure this woman; she was obviously driving on the wrong side of the road.
It was like trying to move a mountain. But was that not what she was? A beautiful, terrifying mountain of energy? This woman was Mother Nature incarnate. Her taste wormed itself into his nose, and the cords on Audrey's neck began to convulse with harsh, painful gags. She was trying to suck him down her throat, to completely consume him! Suddenly, he was drowning in her; in her heady, rotten, floral stench, the sweltering massage of her burrowing tongue, the cracked valleys of her lips raking his mouth like hot razors. She was invading him, flowing through his veins, a river of raw, rancid sexual force. A voice from the bottomless abyss of Audrey's psyche screamed, "ESCAPE!"
Audrey reached for the woman's face, fingers contorted against the soft divots of her temples like the bent legs of an insect. He locked his thumbs beneath the taut and furiously working tendons of her jaw. It was like digging into fleshy, elastic diamond. An insane, muffled giggle that sounded like the chortle of a dying hyena gargled in the back of the woman's throat. She drew in a long, smooth breath through her nose, a noise that somehow both aroused and repulsed Audrey, and moaned a warm, guttural hum into his mouth that set off every nerve in his body like a tuning fork. His muscles sucked themselves inward, hardening, as if sapped of all their blood, then slackened. In the back of his mind, Audrey heard a familiar snap. It was not an audible sound, but the sudden crackling of realization. He had reached a point of no return. His will to resist fell away.
The woman's arms slithered around his waist, and Audrey screamed against her lips as she yanked him forward like a rag doll, sending an arrow of white pain rampaging up his spine as their bodies locked together like lovers in a gripping dance of domination. It occurred briefly to Audrey that she was actually inside him. Inside! Something that felt like a needle lanced the tip of his tongue, and he cried out, but the cry just bubbled up the strained pipe of his trachea and petered out like a flame with no oxygen to burn. His pain seemed to egg this corporeal succubus on, and she pulled harder, one arm around his midsection like a vice, her free hand clamping down on the back of his skull. Audrey had enough time to wonder why he could comprehend the flavor of excrement, and then his mouth was washed in bile and alcohol, an attempt by his stomach to disinfect his throbbing tongue.
