"I remember...I remember how beautiful the sky looked from the rooftop of the place I called home. Those days the birds would sing like there's no tomorrow and breeze would whistle through the trees...but now, now everything I once loved have went up in burning flames and that blaze came in the form of a person. After he left, my world that was once a furnace has turned into ashes within the wind."

"Mei?" A male called from behind her, but she didn't turned to face the voice, because it was familiar to her. "Sorry, I came up here to get some air. I was just about to head back in." She said, looking on at the city. The lights throughout the area at night were her newly favored haven. "Um, soka...?" She called in a low, shy tone. "Thank you for allowing me to be apart of both worlds." She said, smiling back at the tall, dark figure. "Just remember...don't drag anyone into our reality" Hisokachi (Hi-soka-chi) warned. "You should get some rest. You've got school in the morning and I have a contract to terminate." She nodded at his words and Walked over and hugged his waist tightly. He lightly brushed the top of her head, kissing her forehead through the mask that cover his lips. He snapped his fingers and out of the doors came a white bunny with black eyes. The creature leaped onto his shoulder and sat motionless.

Meanwhile, on the other said of town. A young boy who ran errands for a for a drug lord was returning to the restaurant were he'd normally dine. "Hey Z, welcome home. Come on, don't just stand there." A rough voice laughed. "How's it going old man, still looking young I see" Z responded. "Haha, so kid. How did the delivery went, huh?" "Smooth as usual, boss" the boy answered without hesitation. The old man nodded and clapped his hands twice "everyone, leave us for a moment" he ordered. The men cleared immediately leaving the two alone in the room. "You've been good to me. You've also done everything I asked. So, I got you a gift." He said, pulling up a school bag and set it onto the table.

Mei had left Hisokachi on the rooftop to get some rest for her first day of school the next morning. He took one step towards the edge, beneath his feet formed a solid black matter. It tossed him, motioning like a whip. His body reaching bursting speeds within the air, using nearby buildings jumping to and from. Each time his feet touched a surface it was as if he had disappeared, his focus was excellent. He was already half way to his destination.

Over at the restaurant the conversation was coming at an end. "Remember, everything I told you. You'll do just fine kid." He told the young man. He then clapped his hands and everyone reentered the room. Just then, a tall male walked in through the doors of the front entrance.

His hair was black and thick with an afro like style. Two Piercings, both over his left eye, above and under the brow. His nose and lips covered with a black mask that stopped midway at his neck. His black jacket started at his chin and ended at his ankles with a white trim along the zipper line, but his jacket was sleeveless. His arms revealing tattoos and markings from his shoulder, ending just before his wrist.

Everyone in the room stood in silence. Then, suddenly, the old man spoke. "Hey my friend, long time no see. Come on, have a drink or two. It's on me" he suggested. "No thanks, I'm fine" the stranger responded. His voice was young and smooth. He kept his eyes closed as he made his way to the table where the old man and boy sat "Hey, is he-" the boy was cut off before he could finish. "No, he's not blind" the old man laughed. "This is no place for a child right now" he said, right before the boy could answer. The old man placed his hand over his lips. "He's right, you should be getting home now Z." He motioned his hands, signalling two guards to carry the boy home. As they left, the conversation with the two gentleman continued. "So, Hisoka...What do I owe the pleasure of being blessed with your unannounced appearance?" The old man asked, taking a drink from a glass of rum that sat before him. "I came for you now, Toshiborah" his eyes locked on his fearlessly. As if no one else was in the room, Toshiborah laughed low to himself and said. "A wise man once told me, the world is a place of balance. You do evil and evil comes back for it's sender. I have a question for you, at the end of all this... What do you gain?...happiness?... Peace?...excitement?" Hisoka stood up and pulled out a gun from his waist, placing the cold steel to the man's head.
