Glowing Rectangles

23 4 1

Wherever I go, I see glowing rectangles

Whatever I do, I see glowing rectangles

Squared

And shiny

Bright

Colors spread through the light

Even if it can go dull

Will the blue ray stop

Piercing, blinding, stinging our sight?

Oh, the rectangles

Keep holding although the night stands

Chained by the tight rope in hands

Hold it like life depends

Welcome to 21th century

Where the fantasized technology

Makes the most slouched humans in the history

I mean, what can I do

A reflection of dreams

A habit of ours

The least we can do

Is reduce the usage

I wrote this on mine

So it's ironic, too.
