The wolves are howling into the night
The moon is full and the stars are bright
Chasing their prey as fast as light
Wind through fur just how they like
Hackles drawn back------teeth that snap
As they draw nearer to the kill
Crouched down and ready to pounce.
BANG!
A shot fired--------and the wolf hits the ground
The hunter now becomes the prey
Since it is now the end of days
The pack circles around its kin
To see if there is still life's first breath within
Their heads shot up--------fury in their eyes
Ready for the fight they will win
Revenge is sweet, but is not kind
This reaches the new hunters mind
As he watches his kill come back to life.
