chapter 10

Isabel walks out of the classes and says "Elena can I talk to you...Privately".

Elena pauses "sure I'll be right back Stephan".

"Ok I'll meet you bye the car." Stephan whispered.

"This isn't how i wanted to meet but... I'm Isobel... Isobel Saltzman and i'm your mother."

" I'm sorry... I can't do this right now" Elena said as she ran away.

"Elena whats wrong."

"I want to leave... I need to leave. I need everything to just stop." Elena said quietly as she started to cry.

"What happened?"

"She's... my mom."

"Come on Elena were gonna go to my house." we get into my car but i had Stephan drive because i can't handle it right now.

Chapter 11

"I just want one simple day without drama." Elena says.

"Were here I just hope Damon isn't here." Stephan says.

"Hey Elena" Damon said suspiciously happy.

"Damon why are acting weird." Elena said

"Hey Stephan do you no were dad's journal is?"

"No why"

"I'm going to get katherine back!" said Damon with a big smile on his face.

"NO!!" Stephan and Elena said in unison.

"Yes and your going to help me. Because I need the gilbert journal." said Damon.

"No Damon i'm not."

"Elena can I talk to you" said Stephan Elena and I take a walk and I tell her my plan. "Elena we have to convince Damon were with him so when we go back inside we will both tell Damon we will help but were not we have to find the grimoire first we can't let him have katherine back." When we walk back inside Damon asks us again.

"Ok Damon i'll help you" said Elena.

"Ok so our dads journal will hopefully tell us the location of the grimoire." said Damon.

"One question what is a grimoire?" asked Elena.

"A grimoire Elena is basically a witches cookbook. Which is where Bonnie will come in Bonnie will use the grimoire since she is Bonnie Bennet. The book is from one of her ancestors." explained Damion.

"I hope i can trust you, cause you know what will happen if you cross me" he said playfully "You guys ready okay. SO since you are Elena Gilbert your on journal duty. Stephan you go get Bonnie." Damon Told them.

Chapter 12

Elena and Stephan then walk to the car and drive to Elena's house. "So Elena once you find the journal text me and I'll come over." Once they get to Elena's they go to the basement to get the old boxes that are labeled Johnathan Gilbert and bringing them upstairs.

One hour later

"Stephan I found it" Elena said.

"Can I see it" he asked. Elena gave him the journal. "I know where it is. Lets go i'll drive. "

Chapter 13

we arrive at the cemetery and i ask "why are we here." He once told me that he will take all his secrets to his grave.

"The grimoire is in his grave." Stephan said. Stephan then grabs a shovel and starts to dig. After 20 minutes of digging we hit something. It goes quite and suspense starts to build up. He then opens it to reveal a skeleton holding Emily Bennett's grimoire. Stephan takes it out of his boney white hands. And starts to walk away but he was stopped by a dark black figure.

"Well this is a interesting turn of events" said Damon. He then vamp ran to Elena and grabbed her. He then bit his wrist and forced fed Elena his blood "Give me the book or so help me god i will snap her neck and we will have another vampire girlfriend on our hands." Damon threatened.

"Not until she is standing right next to me" said stephan. Damon then let go of Elena and she ran to Stephan. And gave the book to Damon and then they both left.
