-Lucy's POV-
Things have gotten bad. Really bad. While me, Natsu, Happy, Gray, Erza, Wendy, Carla and Juvia were all on a mission fighting dark wizards Gray got injured badly, knocking him out cold. Of course everyone, including me, got mad at the dark wizards and everyone gave it their all against them. Heck I sent out Taurus, Loke and Virgo all at the same time. When the battle was over Wendy went to heal Gray but he was still knocked out. I put Gray's arm around my shoulder and carried him to the guild hall. I could tell Juvia was jealous but I didn't really care. I was worried for Gray. Really worried. We soon got back to the guild hall.
"What happened to Gray?"
"He was injured by some dark wizards and hasn't woken up yet." Mira lead us to the infirmary where I put Gray on one of the beds and stayed by him.
-One Week Later-
It's been a full week since Gray was knocked out. I've been coming here every day and staying with Gray in the hopes he'd wake up. I was still really worried about him. He means a lot to me. He's my best friend for crying out loud. Even though we didn't first meet on the best of circumstanses he still was my best friend. I'd give anything just to shout at him for taking off his clothes.
-Two Weeks Later-
Now it's been two weeks... I'm still really worried. I haven't talked to anyone in the guild since the start of this week except for Levy and occasionally Erza. I still came everyday to see Gray and tell him how much I wanted him to wake up. I didn't know if he could hear me or not. I hope he could hear me though.
-Inside Gray's Head-
I got up inside a nearly dark area except for a white spot where I was standing and to my surprise I saw Ur and Ultear. I opened my mouth to talk to them but nothing came out. No words, no noises. Nothing.
"Gray... You need to wake up." I tried to talk again but that's when I saw Ur disappear and Deliora took her place in the darkness. Then Ultear vanished into the darkness after Ur. I saw Deliora vanish soon, leaving me all alone. Just like after Ur died all those years ago... Then just as I was about to fall to my knees I saw Lucy and her beautiful smile. I heard someone say they wanted me to wake up. I could instantly tell that it was Lucy's voice. I wanted to wake up just as much as she wanted me too.
-Three Weeks Later-
It has been three weeks... I still haven't talked to anyone besides Levy, Erza and Gray. I wanted him to wake up so much now. I want to tell him how I feel and how much he means to me. I started tearing up as I looked at him just lying there. Not moving a muscle. I hug him as tightly as I could and bury my head into his chest. I really want to tell him how much I love him.
-Week Four: Day Five-
I walk into the guild hall to go see Gray again. But when I walked in I saw him sitting up, looking at me and smiling. I run over to him and hug him tightly, with tears running down my eyes.
"G-Gray... you're finally awake."
"Yeah I am." I smile, finally hearing him talk made my day.
"I'm so happy Gray. You finally woke up. I have something I want to tell you."
"What is it Lucy?"
"I... love you Gray."
"Really?" All I could do was nod at him.
"I love you too... Lucy." My eyes widened as I heard that and as he kissed my lips gently. I kissed him back and felt his arms go around me. I deepen the kiss and wrap my arms around his neck. I pull back from the kiss and smile at him.
"How about we go out on a date sometime Lucy?"
"I'd love that Gray."
