The Veiled Love

Meeting her family.

William's POV

After Maria's funeral, their parents invited everyone for a snack at their house, I was going to leave but then Maria's mother approached me and genuinely smiled at me saying "Where are you going?"

"Home ma'am".

"Nonsense, dear you should come".

"I really should go."

"No please, it would mean a lot".

I couldn't disappoint her so I agreed and went to Maria's house.

As I went there my car began getting a lot chilly and the coldness was unbearable so I lower the heat but as I was reaching for the car's aircon.

A hand reached too and I had these goosebumps, they aren't like the scared ones but it was those comforting feelings that you get from a certain person so I looked up and saw a pale looking Maria in my passenger sit.

She was smiling at me.

"Maria, is that really you?".

"Yes and I'm here to say goodbye"

"No please don't go."

"I need to, our baby is waiting".

"Take me with you"

"It's not your time yet."

Then she faded, I think I'm going insane maybe it was my medications effect.

But I swear to God she was here.

I need to get out of here, I sped down towards Maria's house and got there in about 20 minutes or so, when I got there, Jamie and Finn were talking beside Marc who was silently behind his parents who was talking to Maria's mom.

As I approach them, Maria's mom went towards me and said

"Will, let me introduce you to my husband".

At this my hand started trembling, he probably shoot me or something.

I didn't notice that Mr.Sander's was already there, in front of me.

He hold out his hand and I shook it firmly.

"bonjour miser"

"Bonjour"

I didn't know that he was French nor Maria's heritage too.

"I'm just kidding, Will. Hello and welcome"

"Hello, sir"

For about four hours we've talked about random things and about Maria, now that was a touchy subject for both of us.

"I need to go now, sir."

"Please you are welcome to come here anytime."

"Thank you sir, maybe you can visit me next time."

" I would be delighted too."

I went home feeling relief and of course happiness for the first time, ever since my complication and Maria's death.
