Crystal's P.O.V

what am I doing?

You just met the guy a week ago

stupid

it doesnt matter

I'm safe

right?

It's s better than being with Kyle anyway.

My life is a mess.

What am I thin-

"Crystal!"

"huh? What''

"I asked if you're doing okay" Lucas chuckled slightly looking at me. I was so caught up in my thoughts I didn't hear a word.

"Yea I'm fine." I nodded looking out at the view. I was seated outside by the pool thinking.

His place was really nice tbh like woah.

Last night kept replaying in my head and it felt weird for me to be at this guy's place. It didn't matter how many times he said it was fine. I felt out of place.

"Are you hungry? thirsty ? you haven't eaten anything since last night." lucas questioned looking at me. He was really really tall or I was just short.

Either way it made him tower over me

a lot.

"I'm not hungry. really.'' I nodded giving him a reassured smile. It was true though, I wasn't hungry. If I was I would have accepted.. it's not like I'm being bashful or anything.

I was worrying a lot. So much it probably took over the hunger that tried to ease it's way into my stomach.

Like what if he found me ? he saw lucas and his friends.. how hard could it be to find me again...

but lucas promised so it didn't matter. I shouldn't be worrying..

"Crystal are you hearing me?"  worry evident on his face now.

"You're stressing? this is the third time I had to get your attention." he said seating himself on the couch next to me.

"I promised you something didn't I?" he looked at me waiting for a reply and so I nodded.

"Right and when I say something I mean it. "

"Come on, let's go inside and get you sum to eat, even if you gotta force it down. You're not bouta die from starvation here." he spoke walking back into the house.

A small chuckle escaped my lips as I followed him.

"You're telling me you've never watched The Purge or any of the parts?''

"That's what I'm saying... and so what"

"Bruv."

"It's not that good of a show seriously."

Crystal and I were watching Purge Anarchy, I think the name was and she's gobsmacked that i haven't watched the first or any of the parts for that matter but i didn't care. What i cared about was that she was more comfortable than when she had gotten here.  she helped me cook, we talked and we were now watching a movie. A dumb one but yea ...she was chill. things were good.

"you're crazy." she said rolling her eyes at me. i shook my head lauging and observed as she retained all of her focus on that terrible show.

"frank grillo is fine as hell.'' she spoke taking a mouthful of popcorn.
