Training to be Warriors

Camp Jupiter

   The people are so nice at camp Jupiter! I've only been there a short time but so far, I've met seven people and they're amazingly nice! Nico, Wills boyfriend. He's super shy but he was really nice to the Apollo children (Me and Desaray) for some reason.
Then there is Hazel. She's an African American sweetheart. She's dating Frank, a Mexican/Canadian. He can change his shape to animals! He's also really considerate. Then there is Percy and Annie. They're dating. Annie is super awesome and she's really good with katanas. Then Leo, he's my personal fitness trainer. He's really good with mechanics and fire. He's also extremely hilarious.  That's about it so far!

Other than that, I've only been here for a few hours and I think we've already done 18 different stretches, 400 sum push-ups and 200 something crunches! I'm exhausted.. And in the morning we have bow and arrow training.. AT 5:00 AM! It's going to be very tired but we get a really good lunch. We also get Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday off. So I guess it's okay. Natalee is still mad she doesn't get to ride the Pegasi but I told her I'd take her for a ride, once I got the hang of it. Desaray has a lot of fun with the mentors, and I don't blame her. They're super cool! Caymyn's favorite part of the day is robotics class with Leo, it's pretty cool! We get to build robots to help clean, cook, do our homework... actually I'm working on that one privately. Jaxon is having most fun in all of our fitness classes.. which is like 3/5 of our day.. but for me, I enjoy the fact that we get out at 2:45 and I can ride Reign for the rest of the day.
Actually tonight, Jaxon and I are going to ride Chasm and Reign above the clouds. At 2:45 we are going to take an hour nap, then at 4:00 we are going to start getting Chasm and Reign and then we are going to ride them above the clouds together! I'm so excited!
But first, I have two hours training.

I got my gear and headed over to our training arena. When I arrived, Caymyn and Natalee were waiting there for me, as they have the same schedule as I do. I waved to them and ran up towards them.
"Hey guys. I'm Bobbye." My instructor said. She had dark red hair and bright green eyes. She was short but looked like she could fight a war even with four broken toes and blindfolded.
"Today, we are going to be starting our basic training for fighting. Now, I know you have.. what? Four hours of fitness? But this will be a different kind of fighting. We are going to be learning how to climb rope with our arm strength, scale buildings, and even build last minute shelters." She told us. "We will be starting tomorrow because firstly, you're exhausted but second, because I need to divide you into teams and you can do team building activities today." She explained.
She separated us into four groups. I didn't get Caymyn OR Natalee in my team! I got a super stuck up girl that looks like she couldn't kill a fly, and a shy boy that kept staring at me. There was one good- egg, though! A gay guy with black and green hair. He is really funny and so were friends. His name is Tristin.
Once we started our activities it got ugly.
  The stuck up girl (Vonnie?) didn't do crud.. the shy guy (Craig) Was too weak! And Tristin wasn't much help, either! He did tell me some really funny jokes though. I was basically the only one actually TRYING in our group....literally.. we were playing tug of war. REALLY?!?! If you can't tug a few 100 pound kids you aren't going to be able to win a war! Sooo we lost!

After that though.. oh my goodness.. absolutely amazing!!! I went to my dorm and met my roommate. Very good, I must say. It was Desaray!
We are both Apollo children sooo yeah! Natalee got Vonnie though.. :(
I took a shower and put on a Shawn Mendes sweatshirt and some stretchy jeans. I put my hair in a bun and went to the stables to meet Jaxon. We got Chasm and Reign and started heading off.. when trouble came.
"Hey.. what's up guys??" Vonnie said as she walked up to us, just seconds before we scheduled takeoff.
"Oh.. hi. Um, we were about to go flying, so we can speak later." Jaxon said.
"Ooh, hey.. Um what's your name? Mattison? I remember you!" She said in a mocking tone.
"Um.. yeah." I said.
"Buuut.. I haven't met your friend over here! Y'all aren't dating right? He's kinda cute!" She said.
"Um no we.." I started to say
"ARE" Jaxon exclaimed.
"We are dating! Yup love this girlie here! I'm totally off the market!" Jaxon said.
I could just sense my blushing. Vonnie just rolled her eyes and walked off.
"Sorry"  "I do not want her all over me.." Jaxon said.
"Hah, yeah.." I chuckled
"So let's go!" Jaxon said, Chasm and Reign reared back, whinnied, and took off.
       It was the best time ever
        It was so amazing! We laughed, and he told me jokes.. and it was just pure wonderfulness! We rode for about three hours until Reign started to get tired so we went to the park. It's just a wide open grassland with a swing set and benches but it was totally fine with me because, 7:00 and night was starting to fall. We watched the sunset and all different colors of pinks, blues, purples, reds, and yellows just perfected the night. Best day ever.
