Chapter one: Meeting the gang and other allies♥

    I sat on the stairs in the shrine. "Ruka? What are you doing?" Souta questioned. "Nothing...just thinking." I replied. The shrine shined bright purple. I sniffed the air and smelled an interesting smell. I walked over to the well and looked in. "Ruka please be careful." My mom, kagome said. I jumped back frowning. "Mom! Don't do that!" I yelped. She laughed and left the shrine. I jumped over the side of the well. The light surrounded me. "Mom? Souta? Gramm?" I questioned. The sun was burning my eyes. Wait? Sun? I thought I was in the shrine? I climbed out the well and fell on my face. "Fail!" I said rolling onto my back. A man with silver hair and golden eyes stood over me. I growled in warning and backed up. "Who are you?" I questioned. "I am sesshomaru. Lord of the west." He said with NO emotion. "I'm Ruka. Last of the vampire/werewolf clan." I whispered. I remember mom telling me of her adventures but never finished because inuyasha died. She doesn't remember, when I question her about it she thinks I'm crazy. "Why are you here?" He demanded. I snarled. "Who do you think you are?" I screamed. He glared and grabbed my arm. "Let go of me!" I yelled trying to push away from him. He grabbed my face and made me look at him. I pushed away from him. I ran into the forest of inuyasha. A familiar smell hit me like a pile of bricks. "INUYASHA!! SLOW DOWN!" A woman's voice yelled. "NO! IT'S HER I CAN SMELL HER!" A males voice snapped. "INUYASHA! KAGOME IS DEAD! SHE DIED PROTECTING US!" The woman yelled irritatedly. I gasped and hid behind a tree. Inuyasha!?!?! As in my mom's first lover?!?! A pair of hands grabbed me. "You smell like my deceased lover. Why?" He questioned. I put my ears back and whimpered. "K-kagome is my mother." I whispered. He growled lightly. A teenage girl with brown hair stepped towards me. I yelped when the tiny kitten rubbed against my leg. I bent down and let the kitten sniff me. She nudged my arm and licked my hand. "What is your name?" I questioned. "I'm sango. This is miroku, shippo, and that's kirara." She said. I nodded. "Just to tell you my mom is alive but doesn't remember any of this." I explained. I smelled that delicious smell again. "Sesshomaru!" Inuyasha snarled and pushed me behind him protectively. Kirara turned into this giant demon cat and I turned into my wolf. The gang glanced at me in surprise. What? Do I look weird? I glanced down at my pitch black fur. Sesshomaru came into the clearing with a imp demon, a human girl, and a 2 headed demon. I changed back and clutched the back of inuyasha kimono top. Kirara stood next to me protectively. "I just want my mate." Sesshomaru said. I gawked at him and the gang looked at me equally shocked.
