Morgan blinks slowly and when the sun shines in her eyes, she winces and rubs them. Her thighs are aching and it feel like she's been paralyzed from her hip and under. She turns over and when she notices the rumpled blanket on the empty half of the bed, she frowns.

Shaking off the feeling of hurt, she attempts not to fall as she wraps the blanket around herself and walks to the bathroom. She turns on the water and waits for the tub to fill up. She steps inside and shivers when her body comes in contact with the cool water.

I lost my virginity. She thinks.

To Jaden.

Morgan can't help the butterflies that swarms in her stomach. She knows deep down that she shouldn't. She knows that she was a rebound.

But Jaden.

She takes a quick shower after her bath and puts on a flowery dress that ends a little above her knees and wear her mom's wedges.

As she's making herself breakfast she sees a note stuck to the fridge.

Had to go sorry -Jaden x

She looks at the post-it for a while and grins.

He thought about me.

The rest of the morning went by with Jordan smiling madly.

She runs upstairs and decides to wear some makeup. She also knows that she shouldn't get her hopes up but she knows he's different.

He has to be.

He said sorry.

She locks the door and as she leaves her house she silently says goodbye to her parents even though she knows they can't hear her.

Morgan walks into school and a quick hush falls over her peers. Some go back to their conversations but some continue to stare.

She just smirks at them and slides her hair over her shoulder.

Syd and Lisa are already waiting by her locker when she gets there.

"Hey Morgan." They greet her simultaneously. They follow Morgan everywhere, as if that'll magically bring them up the social ladder with her.

They're pretty nice but if she ever told them that they would interpret that as her kissing them smack on their lips. Instead, she doesn't bother responding and shoots them a curt smile. They trade a look and think that she doesn't notice it.

Like she said, pretty nice. They're normal. They talk shit. About her, yes. But that's not any different than anybody at this school. But she know full well that they're still scared of her. That's the only thing that matters here. She's had first hand experiences of being the "victim" and after moving out of that shithole, she vowed to never be treated like that again.

So let them talk shit about her. It's not like they'll ever say it to her face.

Walking to class she ignores the smiles that are followed by fast whispering to their friends.

"What a bitch. She didn't even look at me."

"She thinks being popular makes her better than us."

"Whore."

"Slut."

Morgan ignores them, knowing herself that she's only slept with one guy- one time. Yesterday.

"I heard she's slept with the whole football and basketball team. And Beth said she's working on the soccer team now."

That's the first one Morgan hears today.
