Rejected by my mate

Chapter 1

I have been waiting for this day for so long. Tomorrow is my 16th birthday, when I shift and find my mate. It just makes me so happy that there is someone just for me out there. He may be someone that I already know, or someone that goes to my school. While laying in bed, I fall asleep thinking about how tomorrow will go.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" I hear a male voice yell, which startles me awake. When I look over, I see my brother Adam. He is the youngest out of all of my older brothers. He is 5'10, with with black hair and blue eyes. He is 18 so he already went through his first change. He walks closer to me and gives me a hug.

"Good luck today, I hope you find the perfect mate"

"Thank you" I whisper knowing that he still heard me.

"Mom made your favorite breakfast foods." He calls out as he exits my room.

I grab my towel and walk into the bathroom. I use my suave body wash to wash myself up and my TRESemmé shampoo and conditioner to clean my long black hair. When I come out of the shower my hair is at my waist, and it is very curly. It took me an hour to blow dry it and another 45 minuets to flat iron it because I wanted it straight for my birthday. I washed my face and brushed my teeth. I also but contacts on my blue eyes so I didn't have to wear glasses. I put on my outfit which consisted of a coral dress and nude colored heels. I grabbed my phone and my purse then descended down the stairs.

When I got down stairs there were chocolate chip pancakes, bacon, eggs, croissants, and orange juice on the table. Since I took so long to get ready, my parents had left for work 45 minuets ago. They went to the pack house since they were Alpha and Luna. Evan, my oldest brother, ran up to give me a hug, and Simon and Adam joined. Adam and I looked more like mom with our black hair, blue eyes, and pale skin, while Evan and Simon looked more like dad with their tan skin, dark brown hair, and hazel eyes. Evan is 24 and stands at a height of 6'2. Simon is 23 and stands at a height of 6'0. He also wear contacts instead of glasses like me.

When we were hugging, my face was smashed against their hard ass chests because I am only 5'0. When they finally let go, they tell me happy birthday, and then we eat breakfast together.

"You look beautiful." Evan told me.

Evan and I have the closest bond despite our age differences. He always tries to take care of me and give me all the things that I ask for. We also hang out when he isn't with his mate Katherine. Sadly he'll be moving into a house with her and he's leaving me with these other bozos.

"Thank you"

"Want me to give you a ride to school today."

"Yes please."

After breakfast we all get into the car so my brothers can drop me off at school. When I get out of the car, a lot of boys start to stare. I don't wanna brag but I'm one of the prettiest girls at this school. I hear my bothers start to growl and all of the boys turn away.

" Thank you, but I'll be fine today."

*Time skip to after school*

Today was a great day at school besides being late for class. My three best friends, Amanda, Julie, and Jeremiah, got me balloons and presents. Julie got me two iPhone 8 Plus cases, a portable charger, and adidas outfit, and five pairs of cute socks from forever21. Amanda got me new bed sheets for my queen sized bed, a cute small pillow, a pink and blue Nike water bottle, and a Victoria's Secret perfume and lotion set. Finally, Jeremiah got me all of my favorite candies, a brand new gold watch and two tickets to go to k-con. Jeremiah is the beta's youngest son so he's able to afford all of these things. I was so happy and thankful for all of these gifts.

On my way home, a boy named William approached me. He is the gamma's son and thinks that he is entitled to everything just like his father.

William~"where are you going"

Elizabeth~"home"

William~"do you mind if I walk with you?"

Elizabeth~"yes"

I then sped off to my house. As soon as I open the door, I see my parents.

Mom~"Happy birthday sweetie, how was your day."

Elizabeth~"Great mom, thanks for asking."

Dad~"Are you ready for the shift?"

Elizabeth~"Yes, I cant wait!"

Evan~"You know that everyone is going to be there since you're the Alpha's child right?"

Adam~"And it's going to hurt like Hell"

Now I'm scared. I didn't know that it was going to hurt and on top of that, everyone in the pack would be watching.

Simon~"Stop scaring her!!"

Now everyone turns and looks at me with a sorrowful face.

Elizabeth~"It's okay"

I go up to my room and change into a red dress with white heels because those are the two pack colors. I then put my hair into a ponytail and I take out my contacts and put on my glasses. I go downstairs with the rest of the family.

Elizabeth~"I'm ready"

Dad~"Okay, lets go"
