Chris was reluctant to get out of bed today, but he had to. The reason was because it was already a few days into school and it was exactly the same as the first day. No friends, bad grades, being tired every single minute, the usual. He really had to do better. But something seemed a little...off. He felt like something big was about to happen in the next few weeks, no, the whole school year. Yeah, it was going to be crazy. So he went throughout his day, doing a little better than usual. A certain something happened at his lunch period. He found a certain someone sitting alone at the end of his table. He slowly. Scooted. Closer. Until...Chris, you done scooting? Okay, he's done. "Uhh, so how's lunch? What you got there?" It was a tattoo of Cerberus, but Chris only caught a quick glimpse of it. Damian quickly put his hood on. "H-hey!" he stuttered. Chris was confused, then he smiled creepily. "Is that an embarrassing tattoo?" "N-no" Damian seemed very uncomfortable. "Heh, don't worry, I got one too." Chris revealed a tattoo, really well drawn. "Hey, that's not bad, that's awesome!" Damian exclaimed. "I meant I had a tattoo as well, not a bad one." Chris gave a small smile and giggle. And this, was a start of a new beginning. He felt, different. He didn't feel reluctant about waking up anymore, he wanted to keep talking to Damian. He kept on seeing Damian at lunch, over and over. And soon, he met Lizzie and Levi, which they became best friends, but something was still off about Damian, he had that weird feeling, but he was still a really good guy. But something was...wrong....like he was trying to hide something about him. They started talking at lunch and break, eventually it became a daily routine.
