Sophie's POV
It's just another day in my life as a wannabe Rapunzel, without the long golden locks and emerald eyes. I live like this because of my dad, who thinks everything in this world can hurt me. Like, my crush's mom said hi to me the other day, and he told her to go die and dragged me away. I love him, but it gets a little embarrassing sometimes. However, I'm planning a little adventure that might involve sneaking out in the middle of the night to smile and dance in the silvery moon's light. It'll be my little project from now on, all throughout November.
My plan is to wait until my dad is fast asleep on Christmas Eve (he sleeps like a rock) and climb out the window using some rope I found. It'll be a long climb, since my room is in the attic, but it will sure be worth it in the end. Then, I get on my dad's blood red motorcycle and ride out into the moonlight, with the wind rushing past my cheeks and chestnut hair dancing behind me.

Finally! Today is the day that all my plans go into action, and freedom becomes mine. And my dad finally stops embarrassing me in front of my crush.Enzo's POV
I'm starting to wonder if when people look at me all they see is a pile of money. My friends are fake and just stay with me for the free gifts and free Starbucks. I just want to work for myself, and actually have people like me for me, instead of my rich parents.
Packing is going to be stressful. For one the money, but for that I just stole my mom's credit card. The rest of the list includes clothes, toiletries, etc. This is going to be my big secret throughout November. I can't wait for Christmas!

Today is the day, the day I start doing things for myself without feeling like people are using me. The day I live my own life without people constantly lurking behind me hoping for free food.
Narrator's POV
It's Christmas Eve and both of them are ready to set out into the midnight sun to their well deserved freedom. Sophie was waiting until she could hear her dad's obnoxious snores that she's so used to before grabbing her things to head out. As soon as she had everything, she grabbed the motorcycle, turned the key in the lock, and roared down the snowy, brick-paved street to her crush's house, where she was staying. Meanwhile, Enzo was already at the entrance of the hotel taking deep breaths to prepare himself. He was finally out of his hated room and out in the open world.
It's Christmas Day, and they're both outside, making snowmen and laughing as snow got stuck in their hair. They looked at each other, love reflected in both their eyes.
And this is how a fairytale became real life.
