Chapter 10-New Addition and Pain.

When I got home that night my mom was on the couch reading.It was late and she said she was having contractions.As I stepped in makeup smeared,my hair was awreck because it began to rain and I knew I would wake up with a cold.

"Oh come here,sweetie."She said.I wrapped my arms around her furry comfy sweater she wore all the time.I sobbed into her shoulder and she rubbed my back.

"There there honey...it will be alright."She said somehow knowing exactly what happened.She took me upstairs cleaning my face that was ruined with makeup.

"Why would he do that?"I asked sniffling my eyes were red and puffy.I had the sniffles,and my chest was hurting.

"Oh honey,it was the girl.I saw her at graduation and I knew she was bad news.Luke seems like a sweet boy.He wouldn't do that to a smart and beautiful girl like you."She said tying my hair into a ponytail.

It was storming outside and I wasn't sleeping by myself so I crawled into bed with my mom and dad.

For a week I stayed with my parents and to be honest...I wasn't feeling much better.Infact I felt worse.I was missing Luke too much.

But by friday my new little baby brother was born.My mom had surgery because the cord was wrapped around his neck.He was so gorgeous though.I held him most of the time.

"Hey buddy,I'm going to be your big sister."I said bouncing him slightly in the hospital room.He had bright blue eyes like me and blonde hair.He held my finger tightly not letting it go.Mom was resting for a few days after the surgery so as dad worked I took full care of Conner.I changed his diaper,fed him,rocked him to sleep...I did everything.

One day the doorbell rang as I was feeding him.I got up still holding the bottle and opened the door.No one was there.I looked down and a baby bag was laid with a boquet of yellow roses.

"To Conner,from Luke."

"To,Paisley...please forgive me.I miss you too much.From...Luke."I said sadly.It wasn't good that I missed him this much.I sighed picking up the bag I walked inside and took out all the baby clothes he dropped off,and some warm blankets.

"He has some style.'I noted.Okay that was a lie.He always dressed amazingly.After my mom felt better I stayed in my room..in pain.

I was going insane.My body yearned to be touched by his hands...I felt to hot needing the cold touch of his skin.I needed him.As I got up to look at my tangled distressed hair.I noticed something on my neck.Two small pin pricks.

"The mark..."I whispered.I was feeling like this because he marked me!My heart race quickened and I fell face first onto my bed screaming hard and loud into my pillow.

"Why?"I groaned still face down.

Luke's POV:

I was going insane without Paisley.I wanted to touch her delicate curves,see her nice smile,hear her gorgeous fun filled laugh,touch her soft blonde hair...I got a brand new bed with new everything,I took out all of Ava's clothes and through them away.They couldn't be donated because they were to revealing.Most of the time I stayed in my room in my bed.

Thinking about Paisley.

It's been two months.She was going to Yale next week(AN:Mega time skip).

I needed to do something...anything just to hear her.I tried calling her.She answered the first time then hung up when I said it was me.I got Logan and Chris to call and she hung up on them too.

One day I sat in the conference room with my father.

"Son,I want you to have the palace...but you don't have a wife...Chris and Logan already have girls who they plan on marrying."He said patting my shoulder.

"Dad...I had a great girl.She was human.I blew it."

"Son...in life.There are certain things you need to fight for.Things that you need to fight for.When you fight for these things and succeed a amazing outcome is made.I fought for your mother.She left me because I was a vampire but I showed her all the great things a vampire could do.I made her trust me.And today she is my favourite person,along with my three amazing boys.And I can't stand to see one of my boys unhappy.Son...do what you need to do."

"Listen to your father,Lucas.He speaks the truth."My mom smiled walking in and wrapping her arm around my father.

"I'll be back."I said confidently.I went out to my car and got in turning on the engine I sped off going into town.I went over the speed limit a lot and came to a halt infront of Paisley's house.I ran up the steps and knocked hastily.

"Oh,Luke...what can I do for you?"Her mother asked holding Conner in her arms.

"Is Paisley home?"

"I'm afraid not.We dropped her off at the airport an hour ago.If you hurry you make catch her before her flight."

"Thank you."I said running back to my car.

"Go get her,Luke."I heard her say.I smiled to myself getting in the car and speeding off to the airport.As I arrived I parked in the no parking zone not carring.People were yelling at me to get back but I didn't listen.I walked in and the airport was packed.Luckily I was tall so I looked over everyone.I looked at the board and the Connecticut flight was on deck five.I was by deck ten.

"Fuck."I cursed under my breath.I took off running,I dodged around people and moved past them.

"Deck nine."I said.I couldn't use my vampire speed which would come in handy.

"Flight to Connecticut boarding now."The intercom said as I passed deck eight.

Shit,shit,shit,shit!

Still be there,still be there,still be there...I chanted in my head.I passed deck seven and my heart was racing.Not because of running but because I was nervous.

Deck six...

Deck Five.

I looked around spotting a familiar blonde head,in tight jeans and a t-shirt carrying her carry on bag.

"Paisley!"I called.She didn't hear me as she gave the flight attendant her pass port.

"Paisley!"I called as I got closer.She turned her blonde hair swinging and her angelic blue eyes landed on mine.

"Luke?"She asked confused.

"Ms.You must go."The flight attendant said.

"Wait can I just talk to her?"I asked.

"Sorry.Buy a ticket for the next flight the gates are closing."She said.What a bitch.

Paisley looked me up and down sadness in her eyes.

"I'll see you around."She shrugged turning and walking on.I sighed with my head in my hands.

"When's the next flight to Connecticut?"i asked.

"Tomorrow morning at eight."

"I'd like to buy a ticket."I said.

Paisley I was coming for you.Even if I had to cross the world to do so.

Sorry the chapter is kind of confusing.

I just wanted to get it all out.

I finished exams last week so I will be posting stories mostly in the week during the day and evening because I have provincial ball hockey on the weekends.
