It was a week before graduation and he felt like loosing hope to win Yeri's heart. For 3 months of courting her, he only received friendly gestures from her. Even if he had confessed quite a number at her, she would still refuse him.
Was everything worth it? Will Yeri even be his at the end of the day?
So, the last few weeks, Jungkook started to distanced himself away from Yeri. Instead of being his playboy side back, for once he focused more on his studies since finals were coming. And he thought it was a bonus mark for him since he remembered that Yeri wanted a man who's smart since she finds it cute.
"how's the weekend?" Jimin swung his arm around Jungkook's shoulder, but him being shorter, his hand could reach till the back of his neck.
Jungkook shrugged, "meh, nothing much. just same thing same thing."
"and how about her? are you already giving up?"
Silence. He couldn't answer to that question as he was busy thinking about it. Should he confront it? Or she will reject him again? His mind was getting clouded as he shakes his head harshly, which caught his friend's attention.
"hey, hey, chill man."
"hyung, i like her. but all she does is pushing me away and setting me in a friendzone."
"then you just have to convince her. make her worried for you. let her chase you." Jimin's word made him an idea popped out.
"hyung," he looked down on the ground until a small smirk was etched on his lips, "i've got a plan."

Yeri was in the library, doing her usual revision. The room was crowded with students since the finals were coming. And of course, she has to maintain her spot in her department. She had to sit between a lot of students but she could only care less and focus on the book in front of her.
Not until she felt a vibration next to her writing hand. The call showed it was from Sooyoung. The girl first ignored it and let it vibrate on its own until it stopped. But not until a minute passed, the phone buzzed again and she reluctantly picked up, not forgetting to bow her head down slightly to apologise as the other students were glaring at her for interrupting their studies.
"what do you want?" she harshly whispered. "i swear if it's one of your emergency dress code, just wear mine-"
"Yeri! Jungkook is in trouble."
And with that, her words were cut off and her heart started to beat fast.
"Jungkook? what happened to him?" her voice was laced with concern in her eyes.
Sooyoung on the other hand was smiling, relieved that the gullible Yeri had fell into their trap.
