Silence filled the office as the descendants contemplated what they have just heard.
"So.... what does that have to do with our situation?" Jia asked. Before Cyrus Borg can reply, Leyla spoke up.
"Because we are the descendants of those Ninjas."
All eyes were on her as she gave Borg a hard glare. The invontor tried to hide his nervousness, but failed.
"Tell us the truth, Mr. Borg. Are we the Ninjas' kids?" Leyla demanded.
Cyrus Borg stuttered for a good minute before deciding that hiding the truth is no use now. Finally he nodded.
"Yes," he sighed. He looked sadly at the teens. " You eight are the children of Ninjago's protectors."
The teens gasped. They were about to rant but the holograms changed to show images of different persons.
"Kyle and Ember Smith," Cyrus pointed at the amber eyed teens. "Children of Kai, the Elemental Master of Fire, and Skylor, the Elemental Master of Amber. Both born with the impatience of your father and the bravery of your mother."
Kyle and Ember could only stare at the holograms of their parents wearing red and orange ninja gi's. Kyle looked amazed, while Ember seemed to be doubtful.
"Jason and Jia Walker," Cyrus them pointed at the said teens. "Son and daughter of Jay, the Elemental Master of Lightning, and Nya, the Elemental Master of Water. Both born with your parents' love for inventions and technology."
"So cool!" Jia said excitedly. On the other hand, Jason looks nervous as he stared at his parents' hologram.
"Raven Brookstone," Raven sat up straight once she heard her name. "Daughter of Cole, the Elemental Master of Earth, and Rachel, the Elemental Master of Stone. Born with the level headedness and sarcastic attitude of your parents."
"Yup. Sarcasm till the end," Raven smirked as the holograms show her parents.
"Frost and Crystal Julien," Borg then pointed to the two androids. "Children of Zane, the Elemental Master of Ice, and Pixal, the last Samurai X. Built with the calmness and kind heart of you parents."
"Built?! You're robots?!" Kyle exclaimed. The two androids ignored him as they stared proudly at their parents' hologram.
"And finally, Leyla Garmadon," Leyla took a deep breath as Borg turned to face her. "Daughter of Lloyd, the Green Ninja and Elemental Master od Energy, and Lynn, Elemental Master of Nature. Born with the courage and selflessness of your parents."
Leyla continued to stare at her father's hologram. Was this what he meant when he said 'control my power'? She thought.
"Now that the powers of your parents have been passed down to you, it is up to you kids to save Ninjago from Darkness," Cyrus Borg said solemnly.
"What darkness? W-what do you mean 'powers'?" Ember asked, having a hard time wrapping her head around the shocking information.
The inventor turned to the two androids. "Crystal, did your father tell you to give me anything?" He asked.
Crystal quickly pulled out the circular device from the pocket of her jacket. "Yes, Mr. Borg." She said as she handed him the device. "My apologies. It slipped my mind."
"It's alright." Borg examined the device for a moment before placing it on his palm and pressing a small button on its side.
A hologram was projected from a small hole on the top of the device. The teens stared in awe as different places, people, creatures and events were shown. Borg pressed the button again and the hologram disappeared.
"This, children, contains the whole truth of Ninjago." Cyrus Borg said, gesturing to the device. "Everything you wish to know will be here. You are Ninjago's last hope. It is up to you to stop the Darkness. You must learn the lost ancient arts of Spinjitzu, and Airjitzu."
He handed the device back to Crystal, who stared at it in awe. "Now, since those shadow creatures can sense Elemental energies, you will have to stay some place safe."

The teens now stood before a red and gold monastery at the very top of the Mountains of Impossible Height. After a whole afternoon of walking up the winding stairs, they had finally reached the peak.
"This.... is where we'll be staying?" Kyle asked, looking doubtful. "A monastery? He expects us to learn Spinjitzu and practice our powers in a place of peace?!"
Crystal walked towards the huge double doors. "Mr. Borg said that this has been burned down decades ago, but he has rebuilt it for this specific reason." She explained. She pushed open the doors and stepped inside.
"How exactly can a monastery prevent those freaks from sensing our powers?" Jia asked.
"Weren't you listening? He told us how several times!" Ember exclaimed. "He said that the majority of this was built using a material only found in a certain place. It can block out all dark entities. I don't exactly know how or why, but with all that's happened in the past two days, I won't question it."
Crystal turned to the younger descendants and said, "Okay. Let us unpack our belongings and get settled in. We will need to be well rested for training tomorrow."
"Aww! Do we have to train?" Jason almost whined.
"If we wanna rescue our parents and stop whoever, we'll need to learn Spinjitzu ASAP." Leyla told the ginger haired teen.
Jason could only grumble as the descendants entered the monastery to get settled. They have a long day ahead of them.

What's up, readers! Did you like the double update? To be honest, I had trouble writing the (fake) history of Ninjago that the descendants and all the other kids know in the last chapter (cuz they know nothing about Elemental powers, Shadow Warriors, Ninjas and that sort of stuff).
Anyways.... was the chapter good? Did I confuse you guys? Feel free to tell me. Bye for now! ;)
