Chapter 14

Today was my last scan until I have the baby.Me and Adi rushed to get ready because my appointment was in half an hour,We got ready and brushed our teeth and did our hair and we both rushed too the car.On the way too the hospital we got mac Donald's breakfast I got an egg and bacon mac muffin and Adi got a bagel.We got to the hospital and we went to the lady at the desk and I handed her my paper thing with my name on for this appointment and she told us too sit in the waiting room.After sitting in the waiting room for 2 minuites the lady came in the waiting room and said"(Your name and last name) She told us to follow her so we did and she took us into this room.
"So is this your 32 week scan" The lady read of her clipboard
"Yes" I replied
"Ok can you lay down on the bed please" she said
I laid down on the bed and Adi was sat besides me holding my hand and I squeezed it.
The nurse lifted up my shirt and put the cold gel on my stomach and waved the scanner around my belly and a baby came up but he looks different he was small and he had little legs.The nurse got up the heartbeat and it was going slow I had no idea what was going on.

Was i loosing my baby?

The doctor didn't even know what was wrong she told us too go home and get some rest.
That night I couldn't sleep just thinking about what was wrong.I kept getting pain in the lower part of my belly i didn't think about it and just thought the baby was moving.I kept getting it and I woke Adi up he said I had too go hospital right now.He slipped his white shoes on and Carried me into there car and drove too the hospital,We got their and Adi put me in a wheelchair the pains were getting worst.He told a doctor and they put me in a room and the scanned my belly and they said the baby is coming now.They told Adi and he rang up my mum and than his parents.
I suddenly felt my waters break and they midwifes were telling me to push I was 7cm it diluted.
Adi came in and he sat in the chair next too me and held my hand ,I was squeezing it.
A couple of  pushed later he head came out and the doctors were telling me I was doing good and too carry on,they gave me air too help me and i carried on pushing.The arms came out next and Adi's parents came with Tal.Tal sat in the chair next too me and held my hand and I squeezed both of them while I carried on pushing.My mum Than arrived and she stood next to Adi and was telling me that I could do it.

After 12 hours of pushing our beautiful baby boy Xander was born he cried as soon as I held him, Than they weighed him and he weighed 4 pounds 1 he was 45 cm long.The doctors then took him away too do some text because he had little legs and arms and they put him in an incubator.
After hours they came back into the room and they did the tests and said that he has hypertonia which causes the muscle too be little and stiff and they said that could also cause him to have difficulty walking.
I sat their in shock I couldn't believe it,he might not be able to walk my eyes got teary but I tried not too cry.Adi comforted me and told me everything is ok and apart from that he is perfect.I nodded and I said thank you for everything and kissed him on the lips.
Adi went home and got the maternity bag and he came back after and brought me Hawaii pizza.

After me and Adi ate our pizza we went too see Xander I put my finger in his hand and he's little finger wrapped round it,He was squirming and moving his little legs probably wanting to get out.

It has been two days since I gave birth and today Xander was going to get weighed and measured again and we could maybe take him home.He weighed 6.5 pounds and he was 50 cm and we could take him home.Adi held Xander while I got dressed in the bathroom,I wore  black tracksuit bottoms and a grey top and a grey tracksuit jacket.I brushed my hair and put it in a messy bun and I walked back and saw Adi Singing too Xander he fell asleep on Adi,Adi got him dressed into a grey Adidas tracksuit and blue Adidas shoes than put him in the car seat.We put him in the car strapped the car seat in the car and than we drove home.I picked Xander up and left the car seat in the car and he had his blanket wrapped round him too keep him warm,he started crying and I brought him inside and I breastfed him while Adi got the bag out of the car.
Adi called up nick and Joseph and Cenna too come round and film a video.
They all come round and said congrats too me and Adi and they each held him.
Xander started crying again so I gave him a dummy and he fell back asleep he is beautiful I kissed his warm little forehead and Adi came back down from editing videos and uploading with nick,Jo Jo and Cenna and I gave Xander too Adi. Nick,Jo Jo and Cenna were all saying he looked like Adi which was true.Xander woke up and he was just staring at Adi than he smiled  it was so adorable.
