Chapter 26

NEXT DAY

*nashs pov *

I sat in bed thinking about Kaylee. I laugh at the thought of that kid winning before I did.

I stood up and grabbed some clothes before walking into the bathroom. I got in the shower and let the hot water fall on my back.

Once I was finished I grabbed a towel and wrapped it around my torso.

I look up and see Kaylee sitting on the bed in front of me. She looks up at me with wide eyes and I realize I'm wearing nothing more than a towel.

"Goodmorning." I said smirking.

"Goodmorning." She said with a smile.

She brought her hands up to her face and covered her eyes. I look and see a slight space between her fingers. I walk up to her and close her hands together.

"No peeking." I say laughing.

I let the towel fall to the ground before putting on my clothes.

"Okay all done." I said turning around.

I walk over to her and pull her off of the bed.

"Why are you so beautiful?" I ask brushing her hair behind her ear.

"Why did you pick me?" She asked.

"What do you mean?"

"You could have had any other girl in the world. You know that. But you picked me. Why is that?"

"Because. Even though I could have any other girl, you're the girl I wanted."

(A/N : aw nash stop it you!)

I leaned in and softly kissed her lips.

"Wow Nash. You sure are sappy." A voice said from the door.

I look over and see Cameron standing in the doorway. I flip him off and he smiles and slowly walks away.

"Graces Aunt Kay has breakfast ready."

Kaylee said walking towards the door.

I follow behind her and wait at the table.

"You all don't have to eat at the table! You can eat in the den if you like." Kay said.

*Graces pov *

"So cameron said you and Nash sure are happy." I said sitting beside Kaylee.

"Yeah. I guess we are." She said smiling.

"How are you and Cameron?"

"We are great. It all seems like a dream you know?"

"Of course I know." She said laughing.

"We need to have a best friend day, like today!" I said.

"I know! Let's do it!"

We finished eating and made our way upstairs.

"Where do you want to go?" I asked.

"The mall and then the movies. I already know what we are watching." She said with a smile.

"The fault in our stars!" We screamed together.

(A/N: okay y'all can fangirl. We all love Augustus Waters.)

We grabbed our stuff and headed back downstairs.

"Were going out for girl time." I said walking up to Cameron.

"Have fun babe." He said kissing the top of my head.

"You can kiss my lips you know?" I said laughing.

He leaned in and kissed me with a smile.

"Better?" He asked.

"Yes, most definitely." I said smiling.

I look over and see Kaylee talking to Nash. She comes over to me and we walk out the door.

"I have an idea." She said walking towards Nash's car.

"We can't take his car! Are you crazy!" I asked.

"Yes. I am." She said dangling the keys in front of me.

We got in the car laughing and made our way to the mall.
