A Little Love Here and There

Marty's POV

   After I left Amena's house, I went to a friend's, Tamie, house. When I knocked on the door, she answered with nothing but a big t-shirt on and some boy-shorts. I looked at her up and down, biting my lip. She touched my chin, catching my attention,"Come in Marty? What are you doing here?" I looked at her worried expression, as I walked into her house,"Sorry, I needed someone to talk to. Is your mom home?" She grabbed my hand leading me into her bedroom,"No, she's on a business trip, but you can't stay the night?!" I looked at her sideways as I sat on her bed,"And why is that? You hiding something Tamie?" She put her head down and messed with her fingers,"Well......No it's just that she's coming back tomorrow and..... you know I'd never betray my mom. I'm a 'GG', Goodie Goodie as they call it." I laughed at her 'GG' moment,"So your saying you've never disobeyed your parents, never went to a party without permission, n-never been out the house without her knowing?" As I was asking she shook her head,"Nope, none of those. It's surprising right? A black kid, girl to be specific, who has never broken a single rule. I don't know why, i-it's just I'd never see myself betraying my relationship with my mother over being free with restraints." I wiped my eyes and yawned,"Well, your boring me. What HAVE you done without your mom knowing?" She turned her face, and began to blush,"Lose my VIRGIN mobile licenses, bring a boy into the house when I'm not supposed to. You are the boy by the way." 

  I kicked off my shoes and layed in her bed, patting the space beside me," Come on..... I wanna show you what it feels like to have a guy hold onto you as your sleeping." She hesitated to lay down but she did, resting my head on her chest. I tightly wrapped my arms around her waist, I smiled at the feeling. After awhile I began to feel warm tears fall down my face, I was thinking of Amena. I miss her so much, I thought I could come over here and cheat on her like she did me. I-i just can't do that to Tamie or even Amena. They both deserve something better. "Marty?! Are...Are you okay? W-Why are you crying? Marty!!" I jumped at her voice,"Ye-a........No, okay I'm not fine. I'm terrible, torn apart, terrified, worried. I just don't know what to do without her. Sh-She slept with him, and... and I was protecting her from him! How in the HELL is this possible. I'm supposed to have her and...." I just broke down, holding on her tighter, sobbing into her chest,"M-Marty.....I....I don't ...know what to s-say." I sniffed in my snotty nose and tears,"Please... just don't. I just need you right now....t-to just hold me, Babygirl." She blushed at the name I called her,"O-okay." 

  I felt her rubbing my hair, softly singing super rich kids. I sat up from her grip and looked into her eyes,"Marty, what are you doing?....... Is there something on my f-" I kissed her with lust and sadness. She pushed me off,"Wh-What're you ....DOING?! Marty if you think I'm just gonna give up all of my intelligence for some...... BOY! Then....Then get out!! R-Right NOW!!" I got up and left the house. I drove home and layed in bed with my head shoved in my pillow. My heart was racing, I kept having flashbacks to the scenero with my Ex (as of now). She looked so into the moment, like she was seduced. Tomorrow is going to be a long day.

   On my way to school, I thought about Tamie, how she must feel right now. Probably used and worthless, I'll talk to her when I get there. I got out of the car walking into the school with my head and eyes low. When I walked around the corner, I seen Amena..... then Tamie behind her. I had to get to Tamie, I started walking towards her trying to pass Amena,"Marty...Marty! Pl-Please just.... just let me explain." She was tugging on my arm, I turned around and looked her dead into the eyes and gritted my teeth,"Your actions spoke for you. I fought that kid for you!.... And ..And you go behind my back and sl-sleep with him!!! There is nothing else to explain, you've spoken enough. WE ARE OVER! Get the fuck out of my face."  I saw her eyes tear up and she began to cry, I just walked up to Tamie and gave her the most sincere look ever,"Tamie, I'm sorry about last night. I just needed someone at the momen-" She...She just ki-kissed me! She kissed me.,"Mm, Tamie, wh-what was that?" She rubbed my eye with her thumb,"You looked like you needed it. You should come over today after school." I grinned and rubbed my hair,"S-Sure. See ya 'round." It's actually a good day without the Amena drama.
