I looked at the tombstone. It read: Joshua Lance Kinney. Born on July 13, 1994. Died July 12, 2010. Rest in piece, and may your soul be pure even in death. The flashback ran in my head for bajillionth time.

I set the guitar down and sighed. I was grounded because I cussed out Mr. Louie, our old jackass of a neighbor. My mom screamed quote "Addison Raven McCarthey I am sick of your horrible behavior! If you do anything else out of the line, oh, I don't know what I'll do!" and now here I am, being bored out of my mind, sitting with my best friend Josh Kinney.

"You sick of playing Guitar Hero?" he asked chuckling. I looked at my best friend, shockingly amazing hazel eyes, black spiky hair, lip piercing. He was amazingly gorgeous.

"Addie? You okay?" he asked me.

I nodded and yelled, "All I did was say a few bad words! What's the big deal? You know what, lets sneak out," I said angered beyond belief.

"No! You'll get in more trouble, and we can sneak out tomorrow because it's my birthday anyway!" he replied standing up. I gave him my puppy eyes no one, I mean no one can resist, except for Josh.

"Nope, still not doing it!" he said smiling.

"Please Josh, seriously, I'm sick of being stuck in here! We can go to that club that you wanted to go to, and you can see 30 Seconds To Mars!" I said holding some tickets. His eyes went wide. "How the?"

"I got them for your birthday, but being that I probably won't be able to go to your party..." I said stopping midway.

"Fine! Let's go!" Josh said defeated. We snuck out the window and started down the road after I changed and put on some sneakers.

"I still don't think this is a good idea," Josh said nervously. I rolled my eyes and said, "Stop complaining!" I laughed a little at the end sort of regretting it to. We finally made it to the stupid club, and it was packed!

"So, are you gonna give them our tickets or not?" Josh asked completely forgetting about his nervousness. I laughed and walked over to the ticket stand and gave the man our tickets and I waved Josh over when he let us in.

The club was packed because 30 Seconds to Mars was going to be playing. Well, they are really awesome, and it was Joshes favorite band. He was practically bouncing in his seat waiting for them to come out! "Damn Joshy! You just can't wait can't you?" I asked him laughing my ass off. "No!" he yelled.

Then, they came out and everybody started hollering, especially Josh. They started it off with playing This is War, their new song, which I really did love. I started singing along with it, really loudly. I was thoroughly enjoying myself, when this guy came up to me and tried to touch my boobs.

"Hey! Get off of me bastard!" I screamed at him. He looked at me and snarled. "You are coming with me bitch!" he said reaching for my arm. Josh came in at that moment and said, "No, she isn't she's my girlfriend and she's coming with me!" he yanked my arm and flipped that guy off. He took my hand and led me through the crowd. He turned to me and said, "This is the perfect time to say this, Addie," I nodded signaling for him to go on, "I love you," and with that, he kissed me, and I started to kiss back. "I love you too," and it was true, I was in love with Josh Kinney. We started making out and I saw the guy smile evilly in the corner of my eye.

(Reality)

I started to cry again. I pressured him to do it; it was my entire fault. I wish he had never done that to that guy. I fell in front of the tombstone and cried. The worst played over and over again in my head. All the blood, all the tears.
