Dear Gracie and Caleb,
I know you have asked for one a million times. We haven’t really had the money. But since Daddy got a higher-paying job, we can afford one. Well, two. They are waiting outback. Whoever gets to one first, gets it!

Caleb dropped the letter and rushed outside, Gracie hot on his tail. When Caleb came to a stop, one pony reared and ran to Gracie. The other trotted towards Caleb. “I call this on!” Caleb said in a snotty voice.
“Well, I call this one!” Gracie retorted. Caleb’s pony was a grey dappled gelding. Gracie’s pony was a beautiful black mare.
“What’ll you guys name them?” The Mother asked holding a recording camera. “I’m gonna name mines…Spirit.” Caleb said proudly.
“I’ll name mine Storm. That’s what she looks like…” Gracie said unsure. “Gracie, Caleb, there is some tack in the shed over there…” Their mother said pointing to a small shed. “OK!” They both yelled together.
Gracie was the first one out with an English saddle, an English saddle pad, and a bit-less bridle. “Gracie, is it okay that I got a bit-less bridle? It was less expensive and better for the pony.” Gracie’s mom questioned, just as Caleb was walking out. “It’s fine mommy.” Gracie replied.
So far, this was the best day of Gracie and Caleb’s lives! Like I said…
