"Fran... Please, follow my voice." A spark of a low rumbling voice sounded within your ears. "To the count of three, you will wake up..."

"One..."

"Two..."

Suddenly, you woke up. You were surrounded in a room that had a dull feeling to it. The wallpaper even seemed to lack its once vibrant color. Then, you fixated your eyes on the source of the speaker. He was a short, average looking man with already gray hair and beady eyes that seemed to stare at you through his bifocal lenses. "Three..." Your eyes fluttered open as you sat up and looked straight at the doctor, your hair following the swift movement. "Fran, how do you feel?" the psychologist asked.

"I'm fine, I guess. Just sad to see the same..." you replied. "Sadness is something everyone has within." He explained philosophically. You thought about it for a moment, before adding, "I really want to know who killed my parents." "The police are working on it." He simply answered. You clutched the cushions of the therapy bed in response. The Police? That's all you have to say?! I won't stand by this and wait  a whole eternity for an answer. I want to know now! I need to! I..I have to!  you thought. "I'll find the killer! And my cat..." Suddenly, you remembered. Mr. Midnight was still in the forest! "Your cat is missing, it would be impossible to get him back."

Would it kill this guy to be a little more encouraging? He was a psychologist after all. "But now, I've got something for you, Fran." He added. Curiosity was at its peak. "What is it?" you asked. "See the desk? There's a little package for you. It's from Aunt Grace. Take it." How could he possibly know Aunt Grace? You got up from your bed, walked over to the desk, and picked up a small brown clasp purse. "Open it. There's something inside." You opened up the clasp purse and took out a note:

Dearest Fran,

Here is the purse you like so much. I thought you would appreciate it. I was thinking of you, that you like to examine objects and combine them with other things. Give it a good use. Never forget that creativity is the most greatest you have.

Love, Aunt Grace

"She is worried about you."

"Aunt Grace? Well, another reason to let me go." You told him, hoping to escape the asylum. "Well, don't worry about her. She is fine..." he reassured you. How would he know? "Can I leave now?" You asked. "Yes, you can leave. But before you do, it is time for your new medicine." "I don't want to try more medicine." you retorted. "It's called Duotine, it will help you feel relaxed... Nurse!" A tall nurse with pale skin and a slim figure entered the room holding a tray of what you presumed to be, Duotine. "Anything new today, Doctor Deern?" she asked, tucking a strand of brown hair behind her ear. "Nothing actually. Same visions as before." Doctor Deern replied.

"Oh, I see... Here Fran, take your medicine." She lowered the tray to your height. You hesitate, walking towards her. Finally, you slipped the pill into your mouth. Your head began pounding and your vision growing fuzzy. "I don't feel good..." you stated. Suddenly, the doctor and the nurse blew into chunks, blood splattered on the walls, and their mutilated body parts falling like rain drops. Your breathing hitched as your icy blue eyes widened in horror and you covered your mouth at this horrific sight. Your vision became blurry, then everything went black. The doctor kneeled down to your side and the nurse merely stood there, looking down at you with concern and sympathy strewn across her face.

"Oh no! Take her back to her room! And nurse, don't let her take this ever again..."

...

"Beware Fran Bow... If you leave the house of madness...", a beast with the head of a goat skull, clothed with a dark cloak came by you and touched your side with his skeletal hand, "I will hunt you... Catch you... And bring you back to insanity." He disappeared as a single drop of blood rolled down your cheek. Suddenly, another presence hovered over you. "Fran? Wake up!" Mr. Midnight placed his paw softly on your stomach. "The medicine will help you escape. I'll be waiting for you in the forest!" He slowly began to vanish.

"I love you..." And with that, he vanished.
