Taehyung stared down, his mind trailing off as he washed his hands, the sound and warmth of the running water calmed him just a bit. He sighed out loudly and raised his head to look into the mirror. He grabbed a comb from the side of the sink and fixed his stray hairs.
He smiled into the mirror and straightened his shirt, he had to look perfect. Taehyung dried off his hands that were still damp and turned off the water, watching as it slowed to a trickle.
Taehyung eyed a butler as he made his way down one of the many corridors abruptly stopped walking right in front of him, he in turn stumbled over his feet a bit. "How can I help you master" he said playing off his stumble as a bow.
"Where's my father" he said in a dominant tone, his deep voice sounding almost like a threat. "Him and his guest are in chamber number two."
"Thanks" Taehyung said stepping out of the servants way. He walked slowly, he knew there was no point in rushing, his father takes his time when he's with a slave.
Thankfully there's a room connected to the chamber, a waiting room of sorts, and that's what Taehyung did he waited.
He sat on the couch watching a movie, waiting patiently, he knew from experience that disturbing his father when he's with a slave can be dangerous.
Taehyung looked over as the door opened first his father walked out then the other man. The girl in the room locked eyes with Taehyung but just looked away, Taehyung didn't, not until the door swung closed leaving him staring at the hunk of metal.
He had never understood why his father liked female slaves, they always break so much easier.
Besides, his father is constantly covering his slaves in blood, something Taehyung has decided he would no longer do. Why hurt them so bad that it takes weeks to recover, then you can't have anymore fun.
"How about you say goodbye to your boy" Mr.Kim said and Taehyung looked over. "Then I'll take you up on the offer" the grubby man said and Taehyung glared at him.
Taehyung hated it when his toys were scarred by anyone but himself, scars are like an insignia of the giver, permanently claiming the body that it covers. Why should his slave be owned by anyone but himself.
"What do you want" Mr.Kim said after his friend left behind a butler. Taehyung made sure his voice wasn't whiny or dominant it had to be small and calm as if showing respect.
"This new toy, it's weak, it couldn't even get through the Brandi.." "I don't want to hear it," Taehyung was cut off by his father.
"You broke your last toy within the second month of it being here and I was nice enough to get you a new one so be grateful."
"Yes, I'm sorry father" Taehyung said and hung his head. Mr.Kim swiftly walked passed Taehyung, "I might get you a new one for your birthday" not even turning around he left the room.
Taehyung found himself walking to the room where Jungkook was staying. He was worried that the stinky old man might try something.
As Taehyung made his way down the hallway the man stepped out of the room. The man flashed a smirk as they crossed paths and got a glare in return.
Taehyung turned the handle to the door that was carelessly left unlocked, idiot Taehyung thought to himself as he looked down the hall. He cracked the door open and looked in, on his bed Jungkook laid peacefully asleep.
Morning came in a flash for Jungkook, his usual nightmare was replaced by a dream of Taehyung's warm hand pulling him away, the warmth spread through his whole body and and smoke began to rise and as he began to look down he woke up.
He sat up slowly, groaning every couple of seconds, his entire body was sore. There were no windows letting in the bright sun and the only electronic in the room was an alarm clock that told him it was 6:31.
Jungkook slipped out of bed and tottered into the bathroom half asleep, all the necessities were there; a toothbrush, toothpaste, burn cream, Band-Aids, towels, toilet paper and shampoo.
Jungkook brushed his teeth before sliding off his clothes and tossing them to the side. He peeled of each and every bandaid, they would just get in the way.
Steam rose up as Jungkook turned the dial, left and right it turned till the water was perfect. He didn't use soap he knew that would just make his burns sting. Instead he just stood underneath the water running over what had happened the night before.
Jungkook didn't want to believe that his father left him here alone but given the circumstances he couldn't say he didn't.
Is this my new life he thought to himself as he looked down to his spotted body, his nose began to burn and a lump formed in his throat. Jungkook rested his head on the wall next his hand that he had just slammed down. He turned off the water
He dragged his feet as he walked over to grab a towel. In the corner of his eye Jungkook saw himself. He froze in his steps and looked over, his body looked foreign to him, so much had changed in one day.
In place of the scars that he hated to look at before were new scars. He couldn't help but think "why hearts" as he traced a burn on his side. What stood out the most were not the hearts but the letters on his chest. Tae Tae, was that his name, the boy he met before. What does it matter.
He grabbed the towel and shook out his hair before wrapping it around his waist. He walked over to the dresser that he took note of the night before. The top drawer was filled with shirts the middle with pants and the bottom with underwear and pajamas.
He bent down and ran his hand across a pair of silk pajama bottoms. He jumped up as a loud ring sounded out, he looked around confused but hopped across the bed as he noticed the alarm clock that now said 7:00.
Jungkook slowly walked back over to the dresser and pulled out a pair of boxers, promptly slipping them on. They were a bit big, almost sliding off his hips as he made his way back to the bathroom.
The door opened abruptly and Jungkook who was now sitting on the bed, a drop of burn cream resting on his finger, looked up. A maid walked in followed by a tray and a butler, he didn't recognize the maid but was a little happy to find a familiar face in the butler.
The maid began to clean up the room and the butler served Jungkook his breakfast; a plate of waffles, a bowl of fruit and a glass of milk. "Hi" Jungkook said meekly waving at the young man, "sorry i... I don't want to make a friend again" the boy said and Junkook didn't question it. "Don't worry I understand" Jungkook said his voice was strong and calm even a bit cheerful but his eyes were full of sorrow.
Jungkook ate a couple of bites of the food but he wasn't exactly in the mood to eat. He spread the burn cream where he could, not minding the butler, who couldn't help but stare, until he needed help. "Could you" Jungkook said as he held out the cream towards him. The boy was taken off guard, he just held the burn cream awkwardly until Jungkook turned around revealing his scar spotted back and he realized what he was asking for.
"Thanks" Jungkook said as the boy slid the tube of burn cream up next to his thigh. They didn't make eye contact as the coy boy gathered up the tray and left but for Jungkook it was painfully obvious that that innocent boy was on the verge of tears. His trembling voice as he whispered "sorry" was cut off by the door closing.
