7 years past by and the Blue Kingdom was having a huge party and invited all neighboring Kingdoms.
"Your Highness, Majesty, it's been such a long time" a noble came up to the two and shook the kings hand
"Indeed. Thank you for coming" the queen smiled
"I must say I was quite surprised to hear you were throwing a party. It's been a while since you threw one of these"
A women can by and joined in the conversation
"Was it perhaps the idea of the beloved princess" she asked
"No. Nagisa is 14 now, we both thought it was time for her to find herself a husband and a party would give her some options. After all she is going to be the next ruler." The queen stated
"I would have just picked her a husband and save the trouble if I were it were my daughter" the 1st lady said while sipping wine
"Oh no, we would never do that. We want Nagisa to talk and be herself around the man she chooses. And I think I speak for both of us when I say, we want her to be happy"
"I see. Where is the princess though" a 2nd lady asked
"She might still be upstairs in her chamber" the king answered
Nagisa pov
I was seated in front of my mirror when someone knocked and came in
"Nagisa..."
I turned around and saw my best friend, Kayano,
"Why are you up here, you should be downstairs finding your future husband."
She sat down on my bed
"I just, the moment I go down those stairs, I, I'll have no choice but to pick my future husband"
"You don't have to"
I stood up and faced her
"It's not that I don't want to, it's just, it'll mean I'll have more responsibilities and I'll be more closer to being queen"
"Why don't you want to be queen?"
"I scarred, what if I'm a bad ruler" a tear rolled down my cheek
Kayano walked up to me and hugged
"That's why you're going down there and you're going to find the man who will love you and have your back no matter what"
I smiled
"Here put this on"
She gave me a mask
"So he will love you for you, not because of your beauty"
"Thank you"
"Shall we go then" she held out her hand
"We shall"
We both laughed and headed to the party downstairs
